Maistra Eden Hotel Rovinj

Lovely location close to beach, the public areas in the hotel are elegant and spacious, the bathrooms are modern and clean.

I would highly recommend this hotel - stunning location - just out of the town of Rovinj, set in lovely gardens and at the end of the gardens there is a coastal path and the sea.

The hotel eden is a really terrific location if you are staying in Rovinj, with a few minor drawbacks.

Savtat is only a 10min coach ride to the airport and our return flight to Pula.

Lake Bled is as beautiful as you imagine, you are taken to an old fort overlooking the lake, which is now a museum (once again last bit to the top is on foot and very steep for 100 mtres.

We had no complaints, the room was clean although a bit small, as was the balcony and the bathroom was also small but spotless, good towels and plenty of hot water but you needed to be agile to climb into the bath to use the wall fixed shower.

The room was air-conditioned and had a modern bathroom with powerful shower - no bath - all white tiles and chrome fittings.

We had 2 large comfy beds and a leather sofa bed.

Our room also was clean, with a 2m square (approx) bed which was very comfortable, together with a sitting area and balcony with table and chairs.

The room had a huge king size bed which was in fact two singles pushed together.

The hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated from the spacious reception area with it's piano bar and lounge-like seating area to the functional and bright restaurant.

The hotel had a vast selection of food for breakfast and the evening meals catering for all nationalities and varied tastes.

We enjoyed many evening meals at the hotel as we stayed on a half board basis, and have to say that whilst we were there, the food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast.

Food was average but there are excellent restaurants in Rovinj - we ate at Dream several nights and it was first calss and also very cheap.

Yes the food is not great but it is very hard for large hotels to cater for everyones needs but the restaurants in the town are so reasonable in price we ate out a few times.

Lovely staff who seem to work all the time.

The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, the water is crystal clear.

Also rovinj was excellent, all staff were pleasant and the air conditioning was efficient.

Moreover rovinj was absolutely delightful, the staff were great and the water supply was hot.

The Hotel Eden is a large, well located and well run hotel with very good facilities - activities, pool, gym etc.

The piece de resistance the roof top garden equipped with beautiful sun loungers to rest on once you have got out of your own jacuzzi (4 can get in!

I had emailed the hotel and requested quiet rooms overlooking the pool/garden and our rooms were spacious and well appointed.

The rooms are very modern & beautifully clean, the food was far better than I had expected - always loads of fresh salads to choose from & stacks of choice, the sea is warm & clear, the old town of Rovinj is just stunning, like a little Venice.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and tidy.

Overall good value for money, friendly staff and the room was clean a bit small.
