Magic Blue Hotel Playa del Carmen

The location is perfect because its close to 5th but without all the noise of 5th.

The hotel is in a great location one block off of 5th Avenue and two blocks from the beach.

The location is 2 blocks off the beach, across the street from the pedestrian mall.

My only suggestion to the management would be to give directions on their website which I understand that they do not want to do as it is a profit center for them to have a driver pick you up at the Cancun Airport and drive you to the hotel.

Not exactly what we had planned on for our relaxing, adults-only getaway - a hotel wedged between an airport and the main highway, not within walking distance to town or the beach (it was a nice, clean hotel at least).

The air conditioner unit was perfectly sized for the room and the king-size bed was more than comfortable.

Beds for so comfy, the rooms were always cleaned and towels changed twice a day.

Breakfast next door was fine but nothing to get out of bed for.

Spotless clean, comfy bed, nice pool, good staff and next to everything.

A nice pool bar and breakfast was included at their restaurant.

The hotel provides a free breakfast buffet at the restaurant next door, and it was wonderful.

The adjoining restaurant is superb, the included breakfast is a very nice buffet with great staff and service.

There is no restaurant on site, however you get complimentary breakfast buffet provided by the restaurant directly next door.

Breakfast was great, and most days we didn’t need to eat lunch since we were still full from breakfast.

Location was great and concierge staff was very helpful and nice.

However, the front desk staff was somewhat friendly but not accomodationing.

The maid service here was awesome, they were so on top of cleaning and providing towels and a nice turn down service at night.

He's all about service and making you feel welcome and pampered.

It was bit unnerving when we pulled up, as the entrance is less than appealing, but once you pass through the lobby into the pool area where the rooms are located, it is an oasis.

We forgot our cards one day, but they let us in anyway, because they recognized the beach towels we were carrying, which you pick up on your way through the hotel lobby on the way to the beach.

Beautiful pool/lounge area, and they make the best margarita I've ever tasted.

Beds were so comfortable and hotel was always clean and tidy.

The room was clean, attractive and modern, with a huge vaulted roof made of pretty, native palapa and beams.

We had a thatched roof room on the 1st floor and it was great, authentic, yet modern, very nicely done, and very clean and almost constantly made up!
