Madonna Inn San Luis Obispo - 圣路易斯-奥比斯保

The Madonna Inn is also in a good location just near the start of the Big Sur and Hearst Castle, and a very easy drive from Santa Barbara.

The location to downtown SLO couldn't be better.

Staff was extra helpful all the way around, the location is great - a must stay at least once.

Asked clerks how to get to the airport (where you can actually rent the car on weekend).

They gave me a yellow book to find a taxi.

The room was very large, had 2 bedrooms, and 2 rooms for the bathroom.

Our room had a huge rock fireplace, two king beds, a 7ft bath tub and was enourmous.

We had reserved the Safari Room, since it was one of the few interesting rooms that had more than one bed-- in fact, it has 2 kings.

It was great, from the bed frame that looked like branches to the beautiful mural on the wall to the pine scent in the room to the real granite walls.

The bathroom was very pretty, although the 7 foot bathtub was nothing more than a 7 foot long tub.

Excellent restaurant, coffee shop and bar food.

The restaurants were great - definately recommend eating at the main restaurant and having a piece of their wonderful cake.

Breakfast was good too, although I really don't like having to queue for a table (they do say that it is popular with the locals, and you can eat at the bar if you don't want to wait for a table) and the cakes looked gorgeous.

They also have an restaurant on site that serves a good breakfast and has a large bakery selection available.

We had some of the best steaks that we ate on the whole trip at the madonna inn so I'd strongly recommend taking part in the whole "madonna inn" experience by eating at the overwhelmingly pink restaurant.

The service was great, from the knowledgeable front desk staff to the lovely woman who served us drinks at the fabulous pool.

All staff from front desk to bartender to restaurant employees seemed to hate working there - they barely spoke and showed no inclination to be customer-oriented in any way.

In addition to the very elegant pool, there is a work-out room with state of the art equipment, a mini-spa, and a snack room that I think is only open on the weekends.

The pool was beautiful, with gorgeous views and the fitness room is brand new.

I really enjoyed my stay and the new pool is beautiful (spa is not fully complete).

We didn't bring a computer, so we didn't have a chance to test the wireless.

Stay at an Econo Lodge for $55 and you get wi-fi.

The furniture could use a good spring clean, the toilet is spotless and the food is not bad.

Quiet room, the sheets were clean and fresh, the onsite restaurant was good as well.

I have seen the word "taky" used in many descriptions and while true, the room was very comfortable and clean and part of what makes the Inn so different.

We got 'Starlite'which I think is probably one of the less OTT rooms, but very pleasant with a lovely view and nice and clean and quiet.

I would have preferred a rock room but they were clean out so i just asked for a pink one - and that's what I got - LOL.
