  Well our room was on the lower part overlooking the pool and the bay of Funchal, the view from the balcony was fantastic, the hotel was very good value for money. Reception people were very helpful, the beds were huge and the air conditioning kept me from melting, the Bar was very comfortable and bar meals were great.

  Strawberry tours to the east and west of the island are worth the money, the views are panoramic as promised. For sure the best place to see the fireworks, staff are great and rooms are big spacious. The lady in the cocktail bar is especially nice and the food is delicious.

  Bedrooms and true panoramic view make the rating worth 4 stars, the hotel itself is exceptionally clean and tidy, the staff at reception are incredibly useful. The restaurants by the yellow castle on the seafront to the east are very good.

  The views from the terrace over Funchal are the best on the island and the hotel is excellent, clean and have a very friendly staff. The service is very good especially on the front desk and the facilities are excellent.

  Multiple sofas, card tables, and rugs adorn the area in a tasteful and practical way, the views from the hotel are amazing out over Funchal and the mountains. Rooms are cleaned daily, and found the staff very trustful.

  Probably the best in Funchal and very Friendly Staff. Excellent room cleaners, good stocked mini bar and only just better than piped music.

  The bonus of this hotel was its great location, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good.

  Amazingly comfortable stay at this hotel and friendly staff. The room, as well as bathroom, was perfectly clean, the buffet food was varied and the fresh fruit and salads were particularly good.
