Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel Inverurie

A mountain as a backdrop would be hard to better and the location perfect set on 2400 acres.

Beautiful location and lovely outlook to the hills.

I live locally but "tourists" would appreciate the location.

A stunning setting at the foot of Aberdeenshire's most famous mountain, Bennachie.

We had the bridal suite (room 3) which was a lovely big room, the bathroom was in the turrett and we were gifted with champagne, truffles and Pittodrie champagne flutes.

Our room was a great size, the bed was fabulous, and the cleanliness was great.

They upgraded me to a room that has a living room/kitchen on the main floor and a bedroom and bathroom in a loft.

A clean room with character and a modern en-suite The room was larger than most hotel rooms - especially for 3 star.

The room was so cold that the sheets on the bed felt "damp".

Furthermore well furnished large rooms, the bar was amazing and i have to say the breakfast was as good as anywhere I have stayed.

On our last night, we were moved out of the main restaurant into the breakfast area until we complained.

Staff friendly, the rooms were very nice and the standard of food in the restaurant was excellent.

We stayed for two days enjoying very good food and nice spread for breakfast.

Very friendly staff worked at making sure your stay was an enjoyable experience, service were both excellent and the bedroom was just perfect.

We held our wedding reception at Pittodrie House and couldn't recommend it enough, The Setting is Gorgeous, The staff are friendly and not one of our guests had any compaints (ok maybe about the cost of the drinks).

The reception staff's behaviour ranged from downright rudeness (see the other reviewers below.

Large comfy sofas is great for relaxing, for vegetarians the menu could be a little more accommodating and the walled garden is so peaceful.
