The hotel was situated in the very central location in a gorgeous area with great views. I checked out Bowness Bay, that was set approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the property. I could see the lake from the window of the deluxe queen room. Got exceptionally comfortable bed and a lounge area and comfy armchairs.
As for me, the area was very expensive.

Got the same standard double room booked online with extra touches and a lovely view plus a balcony. The location was unbeatable, not too far away from Lakes Christian Centre.

The weather was beautiful, had really great stay of our 5 day visit. In general the staff were incredible and exceptional. The setting was exceptional, near the Beatrix Potter attraction, the garden overlooking the marina and the shops and lake.

Everything was superb, competent staff, incredible views of the lake. The hotel had a central location in the centre of Bowness-on-Windemere. Plus, it was next to footpath overlooking lake as well as tourist hub in Windermere, very close to the lake, cruises, restaurant and shops.
