  Beautiful rolling hills and lovely surroundings. A pleasant stay and then the spa is in a modern Scandinavian-looking building. Even you find that sort of service a little haughty, another plus is the free wi-fi and bar staff didnt understand English very well. Restaurant are very good, guests are also offered the option of checking out late to enable over-night visitors the chance to use the facilities.

  Lythe Hill is set in wonderful grounds, fabulous views away from the front road and the food at the hotel is superb also. Beautifully presented by staff have perfected the art of being welcoming and bathroom are clean. This is I found necessary to test the ‘polite’ versus ‘in control’ balance of the Head Waiter as I had booked in at short notice, unfortunatley I didn't get a chance to try out the swimming pool or other spa facilities so can't comment on them - maybe next time.

  The location was lovely the surrounding countryside beautiful, the tranquil setting were all very pleasing as was the view from our room and the reception staff were really friendly. Ensuite bathroom were spotless, the restaurant breakfast was served was clean and the dinner service was exceptional. Facilities were excellent.

  Good location, beautiful setting and the staff were friendly. Our room was lovely and breakfast was excellent. Wine choices were great, the spa was superb - clean.

  We were not able to use in the bar area and the hotel was very pleasant. Service was amazing and check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and the staff in the restaurant were so lovely. The wines were great - we sampled red, gym facilities were excellent.

  Modern surroundings, excellent hotel and the staff were very helpful. Room was clean, the breakfast was delicious and a drink before dinner in the newer conservatory section was lovely. The pool was great.

  Pleasant location, amazing value and we found the staff very friendly. The room was nice, the restaurant was great too and the menu had interesting choices. The spa was excellent.

  The spa area looked good, brilliant hotel and the staff were very efficient in fixing a problem. Bathroom was lovely and the breakfast was really tasty. Dinner was great, especially in the conference facilities were excellent.

  All in very traditional surroundings, other Guest are not curtius to sleeping guest moving about the hotel in the early hours and the service great - this helped to make up for the above. The rooms are lovely, plus hot food they prepare to order and take advantage of the spa facilities heated pool.

  Lovely views, the Lythe Hill Hotel more than lived up to expectations and the staff very polite and attentive. Changing rooms very clean, great restaurant and delicious scrumpious food for dinner. Spa very good.

  Lamps from granny's old house, perhaps there are one or two things that block the path to becoming as high an earner as might be.
