our second stay in golegã was even better than before. lusitno impressed us with its quality and class. the spacious rooms, good food, and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable. the capital of the horse exceeded our expectations, and lusitano was the cherry on top.

The Hotel were very helpful and eager to please. Dinner in the Restaurant was good but breakfast was a little spoiled but the old problem of being unable to keep food hot by keeping it over a small candle.

Service is spectacular, everyone went out of their way to help us. As well, if you need to visit this area of Portugal, this is a great place to stay. Dinner was the best of the 3 most famous restaurants in the area. Great for couples looking to disconnect for a couple days.

I recently stayed in a charming hotel during my business trip to Portugal. The large, clean, and comfortable rooms were undoubtedly one of the best aspects of my stay. the breakfast offered was rich and tasty, with good quality coffee and a nice selection of food. The location was also perfect, situated in a beautiful area not far from popular attractions.

The air conditioning in the room did not work well enough during the hot August days. It was also challenging to find an available sunbed in the pool/SPA area during peak hours.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem in the heart of horse country. The hotel had top-notch facilities including a relaxing spa and a fantastic poolside bar and restaurant. The staff, especially Ms. Joana at reception, were extremely accommodating to our needs, including limited mobility. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The location of the hotel was great, as it was near many lovely attractions. The room itself was spacious and well-maintained, with a comfy bed and a nice view. the breakfast spread offered a variety of tasty options.

The staff was not very accommodating or friendly during our stay, which put a damper on the experience. the pool and spa facilities were in need of maintenance and were not as enjoyable as we had hoped.

We chose to stay overnight in Golegã as we headed north to Porto. What a wonderful surprise this hotel was! The Hotel Lusitano is a boutique hotel with fewer than 30 rooms and it simply oozed quality and class. Our room in the old original building was huge with ceilings well over 12’ tall, easily accommodating our huge king-sized four-poster bed. The hotel boasted several bar areas, a wonderful dining room, a swimming pool, and lots more that we didn’t manage to see on our overnight visit. We had a wonderful, relaxed afternoon drink in the garden bar, an amazing and delicious meal in the dining room, and a sumptuous breakfast the following morning. Would highly recommend.
