Luna Palace Suites

The beach is very clean, the location being 2 miles up from the Golden Zone also proved to be better and a great place to stay you are on a budget.

Great location and the hotel puts on activities free of charge throughout the day.

The only complaint I could imagine anyone having would be the location.

LONG walk or a cab ride-but you can get a pulmonia (open air taxi) to just about anywhere for about $4-$5 (ask how much BEFORE you get in!

We were delayed leaving the airport as there seemed to be an issue with the bus driver’s license.

The accomodating staff traded my familie's 2 rooms for a single bed room suite with 4 beds and 2 baths, plenty large enough for our family of 5.

We had the one bedroom suite with 2 full rooms with kitchette, table and 4 chairs, 2 single beds,full bathroon, then a large room with 2 double beds and another full bathroom.

We had an excellent room at the Luna Palace, a suite, actually, with two double beds, two singles and two bathrooms.

Suite- included a separate bedroom with two double beds and a bathroom.

We had a junior suite, it was very spacious, we had a king sized bed, which was rock hard, but then all the beds in Mexico are hard.

Food in the restaurant was not eatable we had to eat else where for every meal as the conditions were discusting, the buffet was something out of a bad prison movie.

The rooms were clean, the bar service was efficient you walked up yourself and absolutely all of the food that we ate there was delicious.

The buffet wasn't great, but there is a restaurant right across the street called "the purple onion" that was inexpensive and had some of the best food I've ever eaten!

What doesn't get eaten for breakfast usually seems to find its way into the lunch menu on skewers and sometimes even into the dinner menu.

You get pickup at your hotel, the trip on the boat, lunch, open bar, and 2 activities on the island (like horse riding, snorkeling, banana boat, etc) for $35 US per person.

As for the service, the front desk staff is helpful, however, they are never in a hurry to get things done.

The housekeeping staff & service were excellent & we left our maid tips plus whatever food & drink was remaining as she told us she was allowed to take it all home.

The front desk staff was mostly uninspired but there is one bellman who was most helpful & had the most personality (I'm sure he makes more as a bellman otherwise he should have been on the desk).

Good area for swimming, hotel is clean and the front desk staff is helpful.

If you enjoy days relaxing around a great pool or beach as you sip your favorite beverage under the hot sun, and are pleased with quiet evenings of conversation or romance, the Luna is a pretty good place to be.

The pool was freezing, you only went in to cool off for a moment.

I cant comment on the pool as we never went in it but felt warm to the touch.

The rooms were clean; the employees, very polite and accomodating; the food, tasty and plentiful; the beer, Mexican.

The staff was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the buffet was serving good breakfasts.

The rooms are HUGE, the one restaurant is clean and this pool is great.

The hotel and our room were very clean, parking/security was great, and the staff was bilingual and very helpful and friendly.

We went down over spring break March7-14 and the place was great, good staff, clean rooms, pretty good food (nothin horrible), great drinks and an awesome pool and theater-great actors/dancers.
