Lugano Dante Swiss Q Hotel - 盧加諾

Located on an interior plaza, in a very, very convenient location to the train station (a 2 SF funicular ride down the hill).

The location is great, as you can walk out straight into the city centre piazzas, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

The location is perfect right next to the funicular from the station in the heart of the town centre.

Hotel is conveniently located right at the foot of the funicular leading directly from the train station.

The Lugano Dante Hotel is nestled into historic downtown Lugano, at the foot of the funicular that takes you up to the train station.

The rooms are comfortable and accommodating ( we have a 2 twin bed basic room).

The rooms are noise free, beds comfortable and baths spacious.

The rooms were quiet and the bed was one of the best I slept in Switzerland.

I will admit that the room was a single bed and very small, but somehow very cosy and all the decor, fittings and furnishings were all brand new.

Very comfortable bed --decent size bathroom-- very clean and comfortable.

Cannot speak too highly of all services provided and the choice at the breakfast bar is unbelievable.

The hotel has the world-best breakfast bar.

The breakfast buffet is amazing: 6 cheeses, meats, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, grilled zucchini and eggplant, figs, apricots, breads, even foccaccia, a hot chocolate bar with toppings for the hot chocolate!

We only had breakfasts in the hotel, but it offered a classic European breakfast buffet, with fruit, cereals, cheeses, meat, pastries and eggs and every juice and breakfast drink possible.

The buffet breakfast offers a hot & cold selection of appetising food.

Free internet access in the lobby was appreciated and the reception staff was.

Its excellent location, we found this hotel to be the best and front desk staff were always unfailingly courteous to us whenever our paths crossed.

Location at the base of the funicular was very convenient, staff made this a great stay even was short and the services were excellent.

Taking into account that car parking and room wireless internet access was included in the new rate the cost of the upgrade was well worthwhile.

Ok the hotel does not have a pool or sauna etc and is not on the lake shore but dont let that put you off - it really is a nice place.

In addition vERY nice hotel and tea for free in the lobby all day.

We are at the hotel now and couldn't wait to give this place wonderful reviews (not to mention that the wireless internet is a steal at 9 CHF per 24 hours).

Rooms were well appointed, clean (to a Swiss standard, so spotless), quiet and tidy.

Furthermore the rooms were clean, choice of foods at breakfast was astonishingly good and the waiter there was very friendly.
