And the location is great: right next to the beach and close to the beautiful art deco district.

The best parts of South Beach are on 21st and i loved the location right next to everything.

Great location on the beach just a step away from the ocean.

You need good directions or a gps to get from the airport to this hotel.

You are a short bus/cab ride from Lincoln Mall, 10th and Ocean, and all the other "hotspots".

I booked the room over the phone with Luis, I specified my preference for a king bed, the first room we were taken to had two full beds.

The room had dirty stained sheets, hard bumby mattresses, a dirty tub and shower, hair on the hair drier, grime in all the corners of the bathroom, no A/C adjustment for the temperature, and if you opened the window, lots of traffic noise.

The beds are on wheels, and the floor is tiled so every time you get into the bed it rolls all around the floor - this gets extremely irritating over time!

The room had mold stain in the ceiling directly over the bed.

1) Rooms are very cheaply done - beds, linens, towels, plastic cups, liquid soap/shampoo dispenser (yuck), tv are all as cheap as they could find and look like they haven't been updated in a long time.

You will find shops, restaurants and a supermarket within 5 minutes from the hotel, and SOBE is 5 minutes away by foot.

Didn't eat at the restaurant downstairs, but if you are vegetarian THAI HOUSE SOUTH BEACH HAS GOOD TOFU AND VEGETABLE DISHES.

The location is superb, just very close (less than 1 min walking) to the beach and still only 10 min of walk to the shops and restaurants at Collins Avenue.

We ate breakfast there both mornings-great empanadas.

Good value for the money and the staff at the front desk was extremely helpful.

The service is good, the rooms are simple as well as the staff.

We like small hotels where the service is personal and the staff knows who are and assures that your stay is a success.

All during our stay, the team at the reception (Linda, Maritza and Perli) gave us fantastic service.

You had to quickly unload on the sidewalk by a fire hydrant, leave your luggage in the lobby then drive two blocks away to park in a metered municipal parking lot which was only free after 6p.

Wireless internet and free web surfing available in the lobby.

Parking- we lucked out and had a metered space for the duration of our visit on the side street directly in front of the entrance.

Yeah you dont clean the room i can understand that.

The rooms are older and slightly dated(this place is about 2yrs from needing a "decor" update), but kept clean and servicable.

The sheets on the beds were clean, but the beds themselves were hard and uncomfortable.

The room was fairly large and reasonably clean.

The rooms are nothing fancy but large, clean with free (& working) WIFI, and the staff are unusually friendly and helpsome.
