Londonskaya Hotel Odessa - Odesa

The location is excellent and we had no problems parking right outside the hotel.

Because of the great location and this Hotel is easily the best.

The best location, warm atmosphere and the building is a nice.

Taxi between airport and hotel was 120 UHA although I was offered 100 by a "private taxi" but, as a woman on my own, didn't want to take the risk.

We caught a taxi from the station to the hotel which was about $10 (they take US currency in a lot of places, not sure how legal it is though!

For the deluxe rooms (junior suites), you don't get the junior suite - only two armchairs, 2 double beds and a small table.

Bathroom is basic; a huge room with just bath (and shower), washbasin and toilet.

There's a desk, TV, mini bar, table and chairs and sofa then a separate area, which can be curtained off, where the bed is.

It was split over two floors - first floor toilets, massive cloak room, hall, lounge and dining area.

Upstairs we had a big bedroom, dressing area, large bathroom and a sauna - yes, a sauna!

Breakfast was fine, a small selection of hot and cold dishes, juices, horrid cereals and a lot of cakes.

A good address -though a bit outside the city-- is DACHA, a lovely cosy but funky restaurant with fantastic food.

We had the breakfast both mornings; not anything to get excited about but enough fruit, yoghurt and pastries to keep you going til lunch.

The bar attendant informed us that the only food available was steamed fish - we went out for dinner instead.

Having breakfast at this hotel is a joke - food as if you are back in the 60´s.

Reception staff were really friendly, security on the door was less imposing than that of the Russian hotels we'd stayed in.

Reception staff were really friendly, my suite was spacious and cool, the breakfast was excellent.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, i ordered room service was fast.

Location was very good, having stayed in 4 other Odessa Hotels and reception staff were very helpful.

The hotel definitely has its quirks- a splendidly over sized elevator (I say lift) which rather reminded me of something in the missile silos you can now visit at Marin County Headlands (now you don’t suppose do you ….

The lobby area is amazing,complete with chandelier, stained glass window and high ceiling.

Massage in the spa was wonderfull and very reasonable.
