Locanda Vivaldi Venice - 威尼斯

The location was excellent, we had a room directly looking on the Grand Canal that was very comfortable and the fact was a small hotel very well situated.

People probably choose this hotel for its great location but I have never been so badly treated by staff in my life.

The Locanda Vivaldi's best feature is its location on Riva Degli Schiavoni & a 5 minute strole to San Marco.

They also made provisions for us to have a water taxi meet us at the airport to transport us to their own dock!

Definately worth, in our opinion, splashing out on a water taxi to and from airport ( 100 euro each way ) it really makes a lovely start and finish to your visit to the beautiful Venice.

The room was just spectacular, with a large king size bed and the other connected room, with it's own bathroom and valcony.

Family of 4, including 2 adults and 2 daughters (ages 19 and 13) Stayed in a very spacious suite, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and private terrace.

The rooms are temperature controlled, with control panels next to the bed.

We were actually given a very nice suite with 2 bedrooms and a sliding door to close one room from the other.

We received a room with a view of the Lagoon, 2 large windows and a Nice Jacuzzi whirlpool tub.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the terrace bar had a nice view on St.

There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are numbers of restaurants very close by.

Breakfast is good, served in a nice dining room in winter but on a lovely terrace in the summer.

We did not eat at the restaurant, but the menu looked good.

Breakfast has been served in a ground floor dining room for the past year we were informed by reception.

Every encounter with the hotel staff was mutually courteous, incl housekeeping, reception, breakfast room service, and the bar.

We interacted with at least 3 members of the Reception staff, incl Stefano, who were all completely helpful, competent, and professional.

The front desk staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.

Ask the Concierge to direct you to the Trattoria Alla Rivetta, great food, fantastic service and wonderful atmosphere, although it is so popular you may have to wait a little while for a table we think it is worth it ( closed on Monday ).

There is a computer in the lobby for internet access by the guests.

However,when we returned in the afternoon and asked about a cup of coffee, we were informed it would be at a charge, and also when we asked about using the computer in the lobby,was informed again there was a charge for that as well.

The rooms are incredible, pretty big for Europe average, very well keept, clean, clear and with that particular touch that make them so personal and different form the other ones.

The service was excellent, breakfast was very good & the breakfast room was clean and tidy.

The rooms were clean and the front desk was great with restaurant recommendations.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, a very nice card wad sent to our room on that day.
