Little Mui Ne Cottages

Not bad at all for a 3 hour+ drive, the location is excellent - walking distance to everything and the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Found the time from airport to resort was nearer 5 hours that 3.

Alternatively it was only 40,000VND to get a cab into the town centre where there is stacks of choice.

The Bungalow was Ok but the 2nd bedroom was such a tight fit the kids could not open their door as it hit against the bed.

The rooms are little bungalows/cottages, each with aircon, ceiling fan, mini bar, mosquito nets, little terraces, fruit basket and separate bathroom with shower.

Also stains on the bed cover and a TERRIBLE shower!

2) The room was very mediocre compared to what we perceived from the Web site -- the shower head was a small, electric-powered gizmo and the area around the toilet had an unpleasant smell.

The staff were very helpful, the water was as warm as a bath and prices for dinner at the resort restaurant were very good.

The food is also really good - we had dinner and breakfast - and there's a bar with a pool table.

As on their website the rooms look very nice, the breakfast is gorgeous and the food is also really good - we had dinner.

The breakfast was included and was buffet style which varied daily and included eggs and bacon as well as Vietnamese dishes.

Phan Thiet is a huge stretched beach approx 10 km long so if you want to go outside the resort to restaurants/bars, I would recommend a motobike/push bike as we walked for miles!

However there is a restaurant immediately opposite the hotel grounds and a number of small eateries within a 10 minute walk.

While we did on most occasions receive relatively good customer service from the staff at the front desk, staying there really put a damper on our experience in Mui Ne.

Their rating is borderline "terrible," but for the earnest staff at the front desk.

This includes hotels such as the Majestic and helpful staff.

It's a great setting, excellent service and spotlessly clean.

There are nice views from the upper lobby area down over the pool.

The swimming pool is large enough to swim lengths in.

At times having one staff to cater for 20 to 30 guest , a fresh coffee was hard to come by and the dining room a mess of dirty dishes.
