I had a surprisingly good stay at a hotel in a small village near Gorizia and Nova Gorica. The rooms were comfortable with efficient air conditioning. The free bus transport to both cities right outside the hotel was convenient. The staff were friendly and bilingual. The restaurant served delicious local food and wine. And the best part? No casino, which was a refreshing change. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay.

The room was the tiniest I've ever stayed in - 12 x 14. a big man could not be comfortable here. The television was only in Slovenian, so it didn't matter that it was cable!!! Howefver, I only needed it for one night.

The hotel is located in a charming small village near a town called Nova Gorica. Situated on a nice small square in front of a beautiful church, the location offers a peaceful and quiet environment. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, providing good service throughout our stay. The rooms were equipped with basic amenities and had a good shower.

Hotel Lipa stands in front of a beautiful church, right in the center of Sempeter pri Gorici. It is only 2km (less than 2mi) away from Gorizia University.

It was right on the bus line. There is a free city bus that stops right in front of the hotel and goes through the nearby neighborhoods and shopping areas. The location was quiet and breakfast was excellent. My friend and I are vegans and the chef went out of her way to make us a beautiful breakfast each morning. We were able to rent nice bicycles and helmets and had a great time riding around the area. Bike trails in the area were abundant.

There was no elevator for heavy bags.

The hotel lacked some nearby attractions, but we were able to easily walk to nearby towns and cities.

This hotel was a great stop on our road trip! The location was perfect, right off the highway in a cute town. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. We really appreciated the private parking and the fact that there was free Wi-Fi available. The rooms were basic but comfortable, and we felt like we had everything we needed. The best part was definitely the spa services on offer - we were able to relax and unwind after a long day on the road.
