Lion Quays Hotel Oswestry

The view of the canal is beautiful - we had a canal side room, this hotel is in an ideal location for my purposes and again the spa staff are very accomodating.

Fabulous location on the canal, beautiful setting and served in a very nice pub-style atmospheric restaurant.

Lovely location alongside the canal, whilst remaining a quiet place to stay and the facilities were 1st class as expected staff were all polite.

The room had an iron and ironing board, more than ample cupboard/wardrobe space, flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, nice toiletries in the bathroom, lovely fluffy towels and a very comfortable bed.

Stayed one night and was impressed by the bedroom, which had plasma tv, sky sports channels, superb bed and nice toiletries.

The rooms are adequate and my wife claimed that she had the best nights sleep for ages in a ‘cuddly’ bed.

Bed was outstanding, with an LCD tv, great decor and spotlessly clean.

The room was very clean and was nicely done out with tea / coffee facilities, Flat Screen TV and even Bath Salts for that luxury Spa feel pamper.

The staff were friendly, the room service food was fantastic and i had a very nice meal on our first night at the bar restaurant.

Beds are comfy, bar Prices are good value and the restaurant facilities are much improved on my last visit.

The restaurant is in a separate building and acts as both, bar & restaurant, and having booked a table for 20.

Furthermore service excellent spa facilities, well-designed room and the bar staff in the Waterside Bar on NYE brilliant.

Spa facilities are lovely as is the huge indoor pool.

Food was excellent and the spa was superb.

Menu varied and interesting, the use of the free spa facilities - swimming.

The room was sumptous and such a gorgeous canal-side setting - we didn't want to leave :-) SO clean too - it was fantastic.

In addition the staff are all friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, she makes the restaurant feel very comfortable.
