  Lovely location by the canal, the country club was very nice and we attended the Charity Dinner and found the hotel overall good. The staff were very polite, the bed was comfortable and breakfast the next morning was great and as vegetarians. Our wine was long finished and • the spa was the best i have been too – treatments were luxurious.

  The best in the area, the gardens are well maintained and the canal offers a relaxing, the hotel staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are usually great and spa Heated bathroom floor Cosy log stove'. Breakfast has a good selection and cereals and fresh fruit/yogurts etc for healthy people out there. The waitress has to be reminded throughout of our requests for the sweet menu, the facilities are excellent.

  The food outstanding, the gardens and canal side fabulous, surroundings are lovely. The hotel bedrooms are great, the staff are professional and our bed comprised 2 single beds pushed together and dressed as a large double. The breakfast buffet in the morning is excellent too, best Spa I have ever used.

  The spa centre was very good and the hotel staff were friendly. Amy at reception was wonderful and the room was very comfortable and clean. The food was delicious and dinner was excellent.

  Nice location and good comfortable hotel. Lovely conservatory style dining room for breakfast, attentive staff and extremely comfy bed. Bar/lounge pleasant, great food and the wedding menu served was fab and big portions. Leisure facilities were amazing.

  Beautiful location, very nice hotel and polite and friendly staff at the reception. The beds were very comfortable, breakfast was very good and plentiful, on the sunday the spa remained quiet throughout the day and was very relaxing.

  Nice location, lovely setting and all of the staff were attentive, professional & extremely courteous. The beds were very comfy, breakfast was in a light, airy conservatory and was fine too, the spa was great.

  The view over the canal was wonderful, the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent value for money and the meal was ok, nothing outstanding, I have paid less and had better. Spa was very good.

  Nice location, lovely hotel and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The main pool is huge and plenty of room for serious swimming, the food is great.

  The staff were very helpfull the location ok for my purposes, very polite and the hotel was excellant, service were excellent. Our room was clean, tea, coffee and fruit juices were available, spa was great.

  After dinner, we sat out on the decked area overlooking the canal, was lovely and value for money was good too. The reception team were brilliant, room overlooking the water was quiet and food was excellent, staff were very friendly.
