Lion Hotel Taksim

This hotel is in a great location but don't chose it if you want comfort and have security concerns.

Good location for tourists and the room seemed clean.

Wireless internet at lobby which we used, exciting breakfast buffet, did not have friendly staff though, good location for tourists (2 min walk to Taksim, within walking distance to subway).

The Lion hotel is 2-3mins walk from Taksim Square Metro and buses and of course Istiklal Caddesi.

Lion hotel was clean, has ensuite facilities I thought the beds were ok, decent pressure from the showers even on 4th floor, you get your own lockable safe in your room.

You get your own minibar in your room - don't bother using it the shop just in front of the hotel is much cheaper.

I was even able (unexpectedly) to get some connection in the room but that faded away in about five minutes.

The price was fifty bucks for a single room in early March - quite reasonable but you get what you pay for.

Rates were very reasonable and 3) The room was super small.

This hotel is in a great location, the breakfast is good I don't like the western food so much.

The best part about this hotel was the very good buffet breakfast selection in the mornings.

Breakfast - choice of ham and cheese, eggs, potatoes, olives, cereal, yogurt, freshly baked bread/rolls, and tomato/cucumber salad.

Front desk staff was helpful but would not confirm reservation by email, for some reason (as a result, we ended up arriving in a different hotel belonging to the same group - Golden Age Hotels).

Front desk staff was helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The only complaint that I have with the hotel is that the reception staff prefer to talk amongst themselves instead of serve customers at the desk; but don't let this put you off staying here.

Lion hotel was clean, the staff were excellent and wi-fi was free of charge.

There is good access to city, the hotel wrokers are very friendly and helpfull.

K just spa centre should be more competetive in charges.

The feature I enjoyed most was reliable and free wireless Internet connection in the lobby.

like in European metropolities, the hotel is conveniently located - close to Taksim Square and the rooms are very comfortable and clean.
