Lilium is a 3-star hotel housed in a 1924 building set in a busy street right in the heart of the historical centre of Rome. This place is well connected to all parts of the city. But to explore Rome’s highlights you don’t need to look any further. Because Via Veneto, one of the city's most exclusive streets, Trevil’s Fountain and Spanish Steps are all in close proximity to the hotel.

      Handsome property--once you get there!

20 steep steps above street level before you reach the elevator.

Liliumhotel feels like a sanctuary in the middle of the busy city. The reception and breakfast rooms are beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and tile paintings and there is a golden cage with real exotic birds. The hotel team, available 24/7, is incredibly friendly and is happy to assist with traveller's advice. Overall a memorable stay in a boutique hotel with style and personal touch.

Our room was rather small, however I would say this was in line with the price bracket and expected in a city like Rome. That said, the bedroom and bathroom design were beautiful and well thought through, and a balcony with nice view somewhat made up for the lack in size.

This hotel is a gem. A great small hotel with friendly staff on bus routes to all the major sights in Rome. We would certainly stay there again.

We loved this hotel! Staff were all extremely nice, helpful and spoke good English. There is someone at the desk 24/7. It is in an older building, but everything has been updated and it sparkles. Lovely use of hardwood floors, plants, painted molding and decorated walls. The common rooms are sunny and spacious. We think we had the best room in the place, from what we could tell. We had a private outside balcony with plants, table and chairs. We could hear the piano bar across the street at night. The small 'fridge will sell you stuff at ridiculous prices, or you can take their things out to make room for your own wine and water bottles. There were electric room-darkening blinds, so we had to set cell phone alarms to avoid sleeping too late! Very nice breakfast with brie cheese, ham, cereals, rolls, croissants, honey/ jams, donuts, yogurt, etc.

There is a flight of stairs to climb before you can reach the lift, so be prepared. It was about a 15 min. walk from the train station. (40 Euros) Recommend taking a taxi from hotel to airport--taking the crowded public train with your bags is a nightmare.

The hotel was very beautiful, and their continental breakfast was superb. There was such nice little attention to details such as fresh flowers on the tables at breakfast. The rooms were lovely. We had a triple with a little balcony and a spacious bathroom. The location was good, it was close to many sights, but far enough away to be quiet.

We could not get access to the Internet, despite several attempts and the help of the hotel's patient and diligent proprietor. My husband was very frustrated because he had to do a little work while we were there. This is not the ideal place to go for business, although it is a wonderful spot for a romantic getaway!

The staff were able to answer any questions and advise on bus routes and times. Very clean, although the room was quite small. Good location with bus stops just outside.

Bath stinks, room is overpriced, entry at 3rd floor, no signs. Its an apartment not an hotel. Not for business travellers.

The hotel smelled very nice. The staff was very accommadating and helpful. The tall ceiling helped the room to feel bigger.

The internet wasn't working 100% of the time. Disconnects quite often and the proxy server would not work.

A great place! I will definitely come again to Rome and stay here! Extremely nice staff available 24h. Perfect location in the center near Termini, 15 min walk to Fontana di Trevi and Quirinale. Very cosy and elegant hotel in a palazzo building. Grazie!

Staff were very helpful, hotel was clean and well kept. Location is ok if you don't mind walking.

Breakfast could have been slightly better, but overall great hotel.

The hotel was decorated with love and care and to a high finish in all areas. It was quiet and in a pleasant area with plenty of places to eat nearby. The decor was imaginative and it was a pleasure to come back to at the end of a busy day.

This did not spoil our stay but our room was small and space for storage was limited both in the room and the bathroom. We would definately stay here again but I think we would ask if there was a larger room.

Breakfast room is bright and cheery, cappucino is excellent. Very clean. The staff is so accommodating. Well located.

We were in a room facing the street which was noisy, and had to switch to one facing the inner courtyard. So, if you're sensitive to traffic noise, make sure to ask for a courtyard facing room.

      1) proximity to termini (2) easy approachable and friendly staff (3) clean rooms (4) laptop + free internet- you could get to use a laptop with free internet easily for an hour

      (1) breakfast could be more elaborate- adding a few egg options, some salad, some different cheese types etc but, in all, its a very good place to stay- and dont be set back by the first image- the entrance of the bldg may look a little strange at first,(its really an old residential bldg I think) but when u enter the hotel, its worth it.

A little to nosy as being located on the corner my room had two windows facind streets intensively circulated.
