The TV service is horrible and nothing can fix that other than the hotel paying the money for a decent service.
Generally speaking, above average and yet solidly average among other high-style/luxury hotels at this price such as the St.
There are a lot of hotels that are much closer to the city center and the nighlife than this place, and for much the same price.
We recieved a good rate for the hotel due to it being so recently opened, but at the prices I am currently seeing on-line, I do not think I would stay here again.
Hotel location is close to Boston attractions but be prepared to pay $40 a night to park your car.
The location in Beacon Hill is an ideal base for exploring Boston.
The room was top notch and the location was perfect.
It's located on the edge of Beacon Hill and directly across from a metro station.
The great thing is that there is a subway stop directly next to the hotel.
Everything in the hotel room was great - from the bathroom to the comfort of the bed, to the views.
A thick duvet on the bed was soft and inviting, as was the sunk-in bathtub and large flat screen television.
Our room was very nice, with a very comfortable king bed flat screen TV and washroom that featured a shower with plate glass door and Koehler fixtures.
Brand-new and clean, Molton Brown soaps, LCD television, nice bedding, clean lined (if simple) furniture (think Room & Board), great big tub, Kohler fixtures.
The exposed brick wall was a nice effect, we had a large floor to ceiling window overlooking the Charles River and Beacon Hill, the bathroom was really nice, and the bed was so comfortable.
The bar Alibi is a great place to relax and enjoy some drinks and while we did not eat dinner in the restaurant, Clink, breakfast was superb.
Overall, I would stay again, but preferably when the hype of the bar/restaurant has gone down.
Prices at the bar and restaurant were super-inflated which is the industry standard.
The bar and restaurant get crowded so this hotel might not be a good place for people with small kids.
There are three restaurants/bars in the hotel: Alibi (sip cocktails and feel 'locked in'), Clink (fancy/snooty city restaurant) and Scampo (from the latin for escape?
Stunning reception area - we had a fabulous corner room, thr hotel staff was great and lobby was the best I have ever experienced.
Loved everything at the liberty hotel, customer service was great and the bar staff were attentive.
The lobby is obviously very new and modern but still had some of the old charm of the jail (they have the entire history posted on a wall by the elevators.
By this time, it was incredibly crowded in the lobby and all the tables were taken.
The theme of the hotel is also very interesting; lobby is very pleasing to the eye.

The service was top notch, the rooms clean and extremely comfortable and the hotel lobby was spectacular.
You will have a clean and well appointed room in a lovely area of town.
