The best thing about this hotel is its location, right next to the University, which was handy for our conference.

From the airport, you can take the regular train service to Pisa Centrale railway station for 1.

The room was very clean had a big comfortable bed and a new bathroom with shower and a lovely wood beamed ceiling.

As with the bedroom the bathroom was clean with adequate towels and the hot water was hot but the shower was unpredictable to say the least.

No toilet paper, musty smell and bed bugs!

Our room was quite simple, just a couple of beds, a small desk, TV, small refrigerator and a wardrobe.

Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, breakfasts were plentiful with a fair amount of choice and the location was ideal, within 5 mins walk to the Tower and within 20 mins (through shops) to the train station.

Located in a quiet cobbled street in the mediaeval centre of the town, there are several great and good value restaurants close by where the locals eat.

Eating out (well) is not that easy - avoid the restaurants near the tower - they're typical tourist traps!

The hot water was hot and the breakfast was tasty.

I can't say much more than that we enjoyed our stay very much and for me it is more important to leave the place with a satisfied feeling than thinking about the small variety of a breakfast.

Quiet surroundings very friendly staff, good value for money and the service was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Big pluses for us was the handy parking ( they take your numberplate and pass this to the police so the car is not towed) nd free internet.
