The hotel is situated in a quiet area, just 5 minutes from the downtown and just 5 minutes from the beach. You can relax on the beach during the day and enjoy the nightlife without using the car or buses. There is no time limit to return in hotel because the reception is open 24 hours a day. The breakfast is varied, you can choose the traditional English breakfast or tea, milk, coffee, cereals, jam, juice etc.

Very small doubleroom Sink in bedroom not bathroom!!!!!!!

Close walking distance to beach although the return journey is uphill.

Walls were not very sound proof.

The location and the price!

The noise from the room above was quite loud in terms of footsteps and drawers opening and closing

Only stayed for one night but found the hotel very comfortable,my room was very spacious, the staff were very helpful, and the breakfast which is cooked to order,is excellent,[ one of the few places we have stayed that know how to really poach an egg ] a very enjoyable albeit short stay.

Good hotel, served the purpose for our over night stay to see a concert at the BIC. Nothing particularly luxurious, but very good value for money.

Location

The lift/elevator, very hard to operate with luggage in tow.The hot water system in our room was faulty.

Had to change rooms as the first had no cold water and the hot was scalding hot. TV didn't work

The breakfast was excellent, good selection buffet plus they made porridge, and full English cooked stuff available too, included in cost.

Noisy bar below until just before midnight, but this didn't matter as I wasn't in bed by then anyway. Wouldn't recommend if wanting an early night at a weekend.

Old fashioned which was nice. Clean. Informative leaflets everywhere. Proximity good for Pavilion Theatre. Helpful late night staff who ordered a take-away pizza for us.

Fire alarm set off in the middle of the night from wedding guests. Husband slept through it!!

The stay was comfortable and value for money. It was quiet in the evening and very close to Bournmouth.

I would have liked more storage in the bedroom and in the bathroom. I had to keep all of my bathroom personal products in my suitcase. A shelf would have helped.

They were very resolutive as they did forget we were travelling with 2 children

Lack of bathroom amenities (only a soap bar), and the fact that there was an event happening that same night and it was very noisy until fairly late.

Booked for 2 nights on different bookings, booking for 2nd night not originally noticed by check-in even though i had phoned the previous day to make sure we had same rooms for both nights. No problem once found. Rooms clean and staff pleasant....,

Rooms by stairs on 1st floor,and other peoples kids thought it fun running up and down the stairs and corridor, not hotels fault. but it did spoil the experience somewhat.

Friendly, clean and informal hotel at a budget price.
