Situated in the upper floors of Shimao Tower, which is located in People's Square and overlooks the famous Shanghai Museum, this hotel perfectly combines the ultramodern, with rooms which include floor-to-ceiling windows and 42-inch plasma TVs and the traditional, with spectacular views of Shanghai. Also noteworthy is the attentive staff and chef Michael Wendling's restaurant, Allure, which is highly recommended.
