  The standard restaurant is very good also. The breakfast, complimentary buffet for guests, is very good, though I'll pass on the Chicken Liver. The pool area is outstanding, though criminally underused by the guests. The garden area is well kept and attractive also.

  I don't think in all of my travels, I've seen a better non-contemporary hotel lobby. I've conducted business in this lobby on more than one occasion when not even being a registered guest. My particular room was in need of a fresh coat of paint. This is most likely an attempt to get you to use their laundry service, which is overpriced, and returns your clothes with an.

  The road leading to the Hotel Roundabout and Lobby looks impressive. Attendants are always friendly and attentive. Over the counter was prompt and friendly. The pool appears slightly small for a hotel this size, it has only four storeys, with long winding corridors leading to guests rooms. The place is not new, neither is the room , but it is clean and nicely furnished and well mainatined. Room was good, and big, but like all things in Le Meridien, it is not that brightly lit. A king size bed with nice matress and bed sheets.

  Allocated a superior room costing 9000rupees++, a bit pricey, which was 1000rupees more than one of my colleagues. My room has a dresser table, with inadequate lighting, a two seater sofa, a well-stocked mini bar, an electronic safe, a TV, two high back chairs and a coffee table.

  Travel agent recommended spot due to proximity to airport. Friendly doorman, large reception area, decent business centre and yummy cake shop. Room was basic but clean - which after a tour around South India became a priviledge not a right despite huge dollars.

  Room was OK and so was the restaurant. BUT I HAD A NEW PAIR OF EXPENSIVE SANDALS STOLEN FROM MY ROOM WHILST I WAS OUT.

  The hotel is located close to the airport - not good for downtown, but convenient for an early morning 3:30 am flight from London. Prices are steep for India, and whilsty the hotel is nice and comfortable, it isn't exactly special. The Indian restaurant is well worth a visit and I had one of the best indian meals ever there. Rooms are big, a/c works, but water is a mystery, one day tepid, the next scalding! The service is pretty good and the hotel is an oasis of calm compared to the chaos outside the gates.

  As is usual, very helpful and pleasant staff, apart from niggles, like I was promised a UK-India plug adaptor but none appeared. However, location wise it is great, it's half way between the airport and my firm's offices. One thing I'd really like these hotels to get a grip with is the US habit of having disposable cups and large coffee urns in the reception areas to take out in the morning.

  My advice, ask for an outside room, I had one facing in to the very grand floyer but there's nothing very grand about the room and it was dark. Furniture, carpets, curtains all needed replacing - chips and stains aplenty. No hot water throughout my two night stay - lukewarm at best for showering.

  I would suggest This Hotel to any one coz Its very near to Airport and City. Dining in Kayal restaurant was good as well as in other restaurants.

  The seafood restaurant was a bright spot. Tucked away in an odd corner of the club level, the food quality and ambience were quite good.

  I stayed in a room on the Club level and I would hate to see what an "average", non-Club level room would offer. The rooms appear to not have been renovated for at least 20 years. There also was not enough of a selection of "Western" dishes for the international clientel.
