Hotel Le Pigonnet - 普罗旺斯地区艾克斯

Pigonnet's location is a leisurely walk to Aix center.

Beautiful surroundings, the location of the hotel is excellent and the staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Note that, if you're arriving by train on the TGV, don't waste your money on an expensive cab ride (a little over 20 euros).

We ate dinner at Le Ramus (a tiny restaurant consisting solely of an outside terrace; inventive cuisine and very friendly, young staff) and Le Bistrot Latin.

We didn't eat in the restaurant because my husband wasn't feeling well, but we remember an outstanding meal there on our last visit.

The food, especially the buffet breakfast, is of the highest quality and the wine list matches the dinner menu beautifully.
