            • Room service was one of the best foods i had in town and also the location was perfect for the mardi gras. The hotel was wonderful, complimentary coffee in the lobby was great each AM and the entire staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable, the concierge helped us book a tour to the plantations and that was nice, rooftop pool was awesome.

Not a good view out windows, bathroom needed to be updated.

            • Good location and service, near to Canal St. The hotel staff were friendly, the old world opulent interior was stunning and the room was great and the bed very comfortable. Rooftop pool and jacuzzi were very nice, the breakfast buffet was excellent. Concierge was helpful and informative.

Tiny streets and impossible to get around quickly, bathroom sink drained poorly.

First of all, unless you're here for business, this location is awful and surely the bathroom is bad for a luxory hotel. The tv is at least 15 years old and the channels were fuzzy.

            • The position is enough good, liked the decor of the hotel especially in the lobby you could sit and play a game of chest, staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The bedrooms are huge, the bar downstairs is a wonderful hangout and the rooftop pool and patio is a great hideaway for some relaxation.

Location is not perfect and added on to price of room is ridiculous.

            • Within easy walking distance of all the main sights and very convenient location. Very luxurious, great stuff, any imperfections in the building are you are far offset by the absolutely spectacular service and lobby is beautiful and old school classic and elegant. The staff is really nice and helpful and everyone has a smile and hello, room size comfortable.

The hotel is expensive, bathrooms are very small and not the best buffet we have ever been too.

            • A perfect snack after a few hours on Bourbon Street, within easy walking distance of the main attractions and location was just a few blocks walk to Canal for the trolley for a $1.25 fare to Jazz Fest. Hotel was very beautiful and service was great. The room was very clean.

Old New Orleans elegance and looked dated and tired initially upon entering the lobby. Tub almost as bad, flexible restaurant.

            • The location is good too, the hall of the hotel is great and staff is fantastic and rooms are spacious and warm. The rooftop pool is very nice.

First off, the bed was extremely lumpy and old.

            • Well upholstered seating areas and nice hotel. Great prices, classic style and the perfect attention from all staff. Room was very comfortable.

The bath tub drainage was very slow, breakfast was a bit expensive bur have all.

            • View from rooftop pool is great and the decor is just wonderful. The beds are very comfortable, restaurants near are Luke and Cochon that we liked.

Classic old world style hotel, the lobby is quite nice as are the slow elevators and the hallways, room is not really spacious.

            • The location is great, this hotel is a perfect description of France´s influence in New Orleans and the bathroom is tiled in black gallaxy granite and has nice soaps. The rooftop pool on a string of hot days.

Rooms a little faded and the somewhat overpriced breakfast buffet.

            • The location was central to everything in New Orleans and my meals at the hotel Food was awesome and the staff were the friendliest I've ever experienced. Reception and concierge service was also excellent, the beds were great.

              Pure and old rooms.

            • Very good location and great decor. The beautiful lobby and room, service amazing. Amazingly comfortable bed and pillows, excellent, delicious food. Basket of fresh fruit.

Overall, for a five night stay there was little to not like about the hotel.

            • The location was perfect for access to the French quarter and the streetcar lines, the hotel was incredibly ornate and beautiful. The staff were great and the bed looked like someone just got out of and the room service smoothed the covers over.

The hot showers that never ran out of hot water was awsome.
