Le Pavillon Hotel is the grande dame of the business district hotels, you can feel the old world luxury the minute you step through the columned entrance into the superb lobby. The staff all exhibit the famous New Orleans charm, and complimentary nighttime snacks in the form of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are on offer. Rooms are well appointed and petite, while the location is just one block from the streetcar.

Overview

Le Pavillon Hotel lies in the heart of New Orleans, in close proximity to the historic French Quarter. The hotel was built in 1907 and was called the first-generation skyscraper. Since then it has earned a great reputation and become a signature in the center of New Orleans. The hotel is a member of Historic Hotels of America, as well as world’s Leading Hotels. It has been receiving the AAA's four-diamond award since 1996.

The hotel lobby is illuminated with Czechoslovakian crystal chandeliers. Seating areas are the fusion of elegance and style.

The hotel offers 226 guest rooms and suites, as well as three meeting complexes consisting of various rooms. The rooftop swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous status overlooks the city’s skyline. All rooms are designed in traditional style and feature handmade draperies, mini bar, a 32-inch color television, in-room safe, round table, wired and wireless internet access as well as three telephones and a desk. There are seven suites in the hotel, each designed in a particular contemporary theme. These suits house two king-size bedrooms with private baths. There are some suits in the hotel that feature great paintings and sculptures of the 20th century.

The Breakfast buffet was tasty and the rooftop pool was beautiful.
Staff were just wonderful, from the concierge all the way to the cleaning crew was friendly and the service from checkin to checkout was excellent.
The bed comfortable and b's- nice piano bar.

The hotel was very nice, had a strong musty smell in the hallways and the room, the staff were extremely friendly.

The lotion in our bathroom was used by the guests before us and breakfast was a bit expensive bur have all.
