Le Meridien Dallas - 达拉斯

Not much in the direct vicinity of Westin and location : Great for most business travelers- located right downtown on Pearl St.

Nice hotel with good location - close to McKinney and restaurants.

We were there for a wedding & the location had great access to Hwy 75, Woodall Rogers Fwy, & I35E so we could easily get to where we needed to be for the wedding activities.

I would take a taxi to Dealy Plaza unless you're a runner, in which case it's in running distance.

Then, you had to navigate on foot around the skating rink and mall area to find hotel lobby.

Our room was huge, had a wonderful bath and king bed with very nice linens and furnishings.

The bathrooms are very large, and Westin-specific items like their awesome Heavenly beds, dual showerheads and plush bath robes make this hotel top-notch.

Our room was wonderful- the beds were very comfortable, and bath sundries were wonderful.

We wondered if the room above our original room was wheelchair accessible - we thought that might explain the leak over the bed!

I stayed in a King bed size room and it was just ok.

The hotel restaurant in which I ate breakfast was elegant and nice, but not surprisingly was overpriced.

The bar/restaurant service was poor and the food was terrible.

If you like live jazz/blues, please check out Sambuca (restaurant/bar).

Because it is located adjacent to an indoor mall with inexpensive restaurants, it was an affordable place to stay inspite of a very pricey restaurant on the premises.

Hotel is close to several downtown attractions including American Airlines center and West End shops/restaurants.

From the valet attendant & bell service when we arrived, to the concierge and housekeeping staff, we felt welcome & pampered.

It was our anniversary and the front desk staff took it upon themselves to send up a wonderful plate of chocolate strawberries.

If you self-park, you have to walk from the garage to an elevator and then through the connected building and around an indoor ice rink just to get to the hote lobby.

In fact, they don't have a pool or jacuzzi, only some of the upscale rooms have those.

Every time you were in the lobby someone asked you if everything was okay.

No internet access included in room price (must pay either $16/day for a hard wired connection, or $10/day for wireless).

In-room Internet access cost more for two days than a month of DSL, it was hard wired , fixed locataion, slow and you had to pay additional to have wireless in the bar or resturant which didn't roam and didn't always work.

The noises from the room next door were also crystal clear.

The concierge was also very helpful with my questions, and the rooms were extremely clean!

The hotel was beautiful, front desk clerk were especially nice and the room was clean.

Clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful light-blocking curtains.

The room was clean and was everything you would expect from a Westin.
