At this price I am getting all the convenience of staying in a hotel that is smack bang in the heart of Hamra in Beirut and so close to everything.
The location in Centre of Hamra is great you can go anywhere very easily and the hotel is fine.
Very convenient location and simple and good hotel.
The hotel has a great location in the Hamra area, the staff were pleasant and facilities were very good.
A good restaurant - Benihana - on site and of atopic I liked the hotel location.
Very good location and nothing hotel was poor not a five star hotel as mentioned in Booked.
The bathrooms only contain a bathtub, but have excellent water pressure and wonderful toiletries made exclusively for the Le Méridien chain; there is also a bidet besides the toilet.
Comfortable bed was the centerpiece of the room, the breakfast was very good.
An AMAZING and comfortable bed (the best I've slept in; done in crisp white sheets with four pillows and a brown bed runner) was the centerpiece of the room.
ROOMS: My room (504) was slightly on the small side (about 20-27 square meters), but remarkably comfortable.
First time was in a Royal Club Room, other time was in a Business Suite.
FOOD: Breakfast in the La Brasserie restaurant was well-prepared and well-displayed.
They also have a good bar and Japanese restaurant in the lobby.
Whilst having an on site restaurant I would recommend you eat out as local food fantastic and hotel decor is lovely.
The surrounding area and Commodore Road (the hotel's address) are very unattractive; building under demolition, crowded streets bustling with people and filled with low- and mid-range shops and restaurants, and a very chaotic environment.

RECEPTION: As previously stated, the hotel has been entirely renovated, and all efforts paid off.
Check-in was efficient and the staff polite.
SERVICE: The service is simply wonderful.
Very friendly and courteous staff with smiles and offers to help.
FACILITIES: The hotel has no gymnasium, spa, beauty salon/barber shop, or fitness facilities (these were removed during the renovation).
The place itself is stunning, with an Olympic-sized indoor pool, hydropool, saunas, hammams, gymnasium, spa, massage facilities, showers, and changing areas.
The upside was the hotel's deal with the best gym/swimming pool complex in town.
Beds were clean, the staff was very kind - the food tasty.
