My only complaint was the price: be prepared to spend a lot of money if you want to eat at the hotel often.

I got a rate of $190, which made the overall cost somewhat reasonable although the hotel adds all kinds of silly charges including a $4/day fee for the maids (does the cleaning staff really get to keep that money?

Much cosier hotel than the Ritz two doors up and much better price - find a price via Internet and then call the hotel direct to negotiate!

We found a great deal on the hotel website, and felt that the price was extremely reasonable for a hotel of this caliber.

Le Meridien is a very nice boutique hotel in a perfect location in Cancun.

We also liked that the hotel’s location is extremely convenient – we walked to dinners at other hotels, Puerto Madero, and La Dolce Vita, and took the bus just a few minutes to La Isla Mall.

The food is very good and the location is perfect.

The taxi broke down before we got to the airport so we had to run with our luggage in order to catch our 7am flight.

The initial Taxi fee from the airport to your hotel is the biggest, legal scam going.

The separate bedroom contained a king size bed, a large console with another TV set, and a full bath with shower and tub, plus very generous closet and storage areas.

The bathroom was large, with seperate shower and bath (marble) and seperate toilet room.

The rooms are of moderate size with large bathrooms, desk, table with 2 chairs and king bed.

In the room, the bed was comfortable and I liked the separate shower and bath.

The food in the hotel was excellent - great breakfast buffet, had lunch brought to our pool chairs every day, did not have dinner at the restaurant.

The breakfast bar is fantastic at the Aioli restaurant in the hotel.

The main (indoor) restaurant has a pretty good breakfast buffet with mostly Mexican dishes, but pancakes, french toast and eggs benedict as well.

Most evenings included champagne and finger food followed by a dip in the pool/hot tub and a nighcap at the poolside restaurant/bar.

Every day we enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, as well as lunch and drinks from the poolside restaurant (which we also found to be extremely reasonable for such a beautiful resort).

From the concierge and front desk staff, to the waiters and the room service staff-everyone was professional, poised and ready (and happy!

Every employee that we spoke to – including the concierge, the front desk, waiters/waitresses – were all extremely polite and helpful.

The entire pool/spa/gym area is very tastefully done--the landscaping is outstanding.

We used the beautiful pools, tennis courts and relaxed in the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi in their top of the line spa facilities.

The positives were the spa (really superb), gym, pool areas and the staff was fine, although not exceptional.

Only negative would be high cost of high-speed internet access.

They have high speed internet, for a fee that worked very well so we were able to keep in outch with our kids back home and email pictures.

Our room had a great view and the beach was spotless with clean white sand.

The hotel is elegant, the beach amazing, our room was spotless, and the staff are great.

The room was clean and other bar fun the Le Meridien pool was quiet.

Cancun's hotel district is a long strip of hotels most, the staff are super friendly and the rooms are very clean.

The staff at the Le Meriden was very accomodating and our room was spotless.

Great Service on beach and a beautiful ocean view from the restaurant. Professional in the hotel, attentive staff and the USA - comfortable beds. Cool towels upon arrival, good food and lots of traditional Mexican dishes for the more adventurous adults.

The ocean was clear and our stay at Le Meridien was excellent. Moreover service was much better, the room was very nice and the drinks were great. Dinner was very good and the spa was also very beautiful.

The beach to better help you in understanding the property, the rooms on the poolside will have the best ocean views that is important to you and stay at the Westin I must say is great. The service was good some of the reviews you read say that is slow and the water is a perfect temperature. The restaurants are very nice, pools are wonderful.

The pool/beach facilities are beautifully designed and the ocean views from the balconies are fantastic. The hotel is lovely and staff is really nice and helpful. Room service is quick, drinks could be a little better and the spa is great as well - we had massages.

Nice beach and good location. Additionally clean and attractive decor, the poolside cafe has reasonable prices, beautiful interiors. The service was superb, the water was crystal clear and food was just above average at best. Dinner there was excellent and the gym was fantastic.

To the beach attendants - was warm and the hotel room was comfortable. Staff was so attentive and the concierge was superb. The suite was extremely nice, sauna were all very good and the food was wonderful.
