Great service and friendly staff! Always ready to help and make our stay comfortable. We loved the spacious and clean rooms. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of fresh and tasty options.
The WiFi was spotty at times, which was a bit frustrating. the pool area could have used some more comfortable seating options.

We enjoyed the stay at the Meridien very much. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, staff are mostly kind and helpful. The beach is wonderful but has sand flees, which could be looked after. Food is quite expensive considering that the quality is good but not excellent - but then food on the Seychelles is very expensive almost everywhere.
the flees on the beach.

Located near the bus stop and away from the hustle and bustle, this peaceful hotel boasts beautiful beaches and tropical jungle surrounds. Guests recommend trying the Tamarind restaurant, visiting the island and exploring surrounding islands. Some rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and generous amenities. Many enjoyed the friendly staff and prompt room cleaning, and some loved watching the ocean from sea-facing balconies.
Service was mixed.

I was watching the beautiful ocean and nature all the time, that is the greatest place, very clear water.
Not good smelling of the sofas in the rooms, very high price for dinner in the main restaurant.

Pretty main lobby stretches from entrance to the beach. Although a bit dated the building can't be faulted. Breakfast buffet is extensive if lacking a creative touch. Personnel is amongst the best we encountered in Seychelles and a definite plus. A little issue in the room was promptly and properly addressed.
The hotel is located on the west coast of Mahe, and the drive to Victoria or Beau Vallon, where main tourist areas and restaurants are, requires crossing any of a number of mountain passes. Unless you intend to stay at the hotel 24hrs, I suggest renting a car for convenience and economy. Beware of local drivers. Fruit juices at breakfast buffet are lower-end commercial, while one would expect fresh in a tropical hotel of this chain.

Bad location. Poorly trained staffs, not friendly. We reached 3 O clock PM but still were asked to wait for one hour becasue the rooms were not ready yet. One day they even did not provied the towels in the rooms. If yo ask for rooms service , it will come after 2 hours. Over all the service they provided do not match with the money they charge. When people pay good money they always expect good srvice and hospitality

Pool area and beach are nice and clean. Massage at spa was good.
Food was not very delicious, machines at the gym were old, some broken and not to use, room was noisy and the staff was loud. For all that it was far too expensive.

We got married at the Le Meridien Barbarons and truthfully we could not have asked for more. Veronique, the lady who deals with organising weddings was absolutely outstanding, she went beyond our expectations. Everything was already done and all we had to say was I do. The rest of the staff always greeted us with a smile and the level of service was fast and efficient. The location was beautiful and our room was relaxing with all the options we could ask for. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, it made for the perfect trip to the seychelles.
We liked everything.
