Le Caspien

The tour leader explained that the company had chosen this hotel rather than the one they previously used because travelers had requested a hotel with a central location.

We had to take a taxi everywhere we went, but because they were so cheap we didn't mind too much.

But don't forget to set a price before you get in the taxi.

The service was good, the room was excellent (need better lamps by the bed to read by), clean sheets, clean bathroom, great bathtub (lots of desert sand to wash out) and quiet.

The room and bathroom were cleaned and tolietries, towels etc.

A good budget hotel, the front desk was particularly helpful in calling a neighborhood spa to set up a massage and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Bed linen spotless with rose petals spinkled on the pillow.

We were initially disappointed with this hotel because the room and bathroom were so small and we were booked for 3 nights.

There are great local cafes for breakfast, tea and whatever, good restaurants (with a range of fine, international cooking) and internet access nearby.

The restaurant does look out onto the pool, but this is nice at breakfast and dinner.

Rooms perfectly adequate and the restaurant served very good 'French' food.

There's a couple of restaurants in the hotel offering French or Morroccan food, but they were both pretty quiet and I'm sure there's better options locally.

However, what made this hotel so special was the level of service that we received, many staff at the hotel struggled with English but with some stilted french we got by, and reception were good.

Towels were a litle past their best, the staff in reception was extremely pleasant as were the waitstaffers at breakfast.

Places of interests within walking distance - is a big plus and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

A little secret top floor 7 is a terraces with sun louges, No one esle was up there, so take a dip jump in the lift and grab some sun as the pool becomes shaded in afternoon.

Small pool but it was still lovely never got busy.
