The room was clean and elegant in furniture and bed dressings - a regal canopy over the bed - enchanting and restful.

We didn't have a reservation and there were no normal rooms available, but they offered us a suite for the price of a double room.

Would agree with previous review that hotel is not ideal for anyone with a car as parking will indeed prove a challenge.

The hotel also does not have parking facilities, which means you have to rely on finding a space on the street - not easy in the warren-like old town with its nightmarish one-way system!
