Hotel Las Brisas Acapulco - 阿卡普尔科

Only having seen small photos on the various travel sites, we had no idea of its' remote location or unique arrangement.

In early September, we returned to Las Brisas, the location of our honeymoon, to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

I specifically requested an "Acapulco Bay view in a warm sunny location" and we got that and more.

When we arrived at the airport, we were hustled by the taxi drivers and paid too much to be taken to the resort.

The cab driver waited for us, loaded our supplies into the taxi and then when we arrived back to Las Brisas, the jeep drivers carried our things back to our casita and brought us bags of ice.

The rooms with individual pools, with views overlooking the bay or the ocean, are all contemporary with an extra large bed, well appointed bathroom, flat screen tvs and a DVD player, a mini bar, large bath towels, robes.

The fresh flowers on the bed and in the bath were a nice touch.

The bed was very comfortable; the room was a good size.

It had an outdoor living/dining/kitchen area with ½ bath, a large bedroom with A/C and a full bath, which has a sunken marble tub/shower and bidet.

The room itself was spacious, bright and airy, well furnished and the huge comfortable bed faced the terrace doors so we could see Acapulco Bay even while lying down!

The food was more expensive than expected (particularly lunch at the sit down restaurant @ the Beach Club -- hamburgers, etc are also available at the pool bar in a less pricey setting), but it was all EXCELLENT!

You have to have at least one meal at the Bella Vista restaurant which is one of the Las Brisas restaurants on the property.

The Bellavista restaurant on site was extremely overpriced, and the food was definitely below average when compared to the restaurants across the road from the hotel.

We ate at Casanova Restaurant (italian cuisine), Baikal (seafood) & Becco (2 months old & very trendy!

Views from our room, the Sunset Bar and the restaurant were unparalleled.

From the front desk to the bellmen in their pink jeeps, to the Maitre D' and waiters at the Bella Vista, to the housekeeping staff, the service here was nothing short of spectacular.

Every night the staff would hang any clothes left out and we had a nice turn down service.

The staff and the service is incomparable, as is the experience!

The pool and jacuzzi had the best view of both the bay and the Pacific.

We had an in room (same price as going to the spa) couples massage, setup right by our private pool.

Why should you when you have a private pool and jacuzzi at your disposal.

They are also setting up a wireless internet at the resort which should be available soon.

The service was excellent, the room was clean and airy, the view was beautiful, and we found the whole experience to be very relaxing and romantic.

Our suite, while not a new and modern suite, was extremely clean and very well maintained (especially when you consider that this hotel is not a new hotel).

We stayed in the two-bedroom casita La Encantada (#440, 439) -- it was clean, private, beautiful view of the bay with unmatched relaxation.

The service was awesome and the room was ver large and clean.

Though the rooms were kept clean, we did have a couple of unpleasant encounters with cockroaches.
