Great Views and Charming Service

The location offers serene views of a small lake in the distance that provide a refreshing retreat from urban life. The intimate atmosphere of the establishment with limited rooms allows for personalized service from the staff that ensures a peaceful stay.

The distance from larger cities may make it a challenge to access without a car. Finding the property could also present a navigation concern depending on the tool one uses.

This hotel was a real find and justifiably deserves its high rating. The room was modern, spotless, had an excellent bathroom with its own balcony. It is run as a family concern, everyone speaks good English and are extremely helpful. If the locals come in for dinner and drinks it must be good. There is a 'Wellness' area which we did not use. The private sunhouse on the lake however was a bonus. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would stay again.

The lack of an English language tv channel forces you into Austrian/German mode, which after all is no bad thing. Possibly the only negative point is the lengthy walk into Portschach. Having said that there is a train station at the bottom of the road and the trains run every half an hour.

Oliver and his family were wonderful hosts, very helpful. We arrived quite stressed and Oliver, with his charming manner, put us completely at ease, I only wished we could have stayed longer. Delicious food. Good size pool and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel also offers amenities such as a sauna, swimming pool, and sun terrace, perfect for leisure and relaxation. The free Wi-Fi ensures that guests can stay connected throughout their stay. The beautiful garden area with garden furniture is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

I would highly recommend this hotel to families, as it offers a range of amenities and activities suitable for both adults and children.

As Worthersee has a motorway and a railway all the way along this was possibly the best position as the furthest possible distance from both.

The staff was super friendly and helpful during our stay. They provided us with everything we needed and went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed. The location was great, overlooking a beautiful lake. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the serenity of the area, which made our stay very relaxing.

The property was a bit far from the nearest city, which made it difficult to get around without a car. , the room we stayed in was on the second floor, which made it challenging to carry our two large suitcases up.

Finding this hotel was a hassle as the GPS couldn't locate it. However, upon check-in, the staff was welcoming and seemingly obliging. The rooms are tidy, though they get stuffy and lack air conditioning. The view of the lake from the property is breathtaking, and guests can enjoy a relaxing morning at the breakfast terrace. However, there are only two restaurants in the vicinity, which limits dining options.

The room size is cramped, making it a tight squeeze for travelers with large bags.
