Lake Resort

The location is fabulous, next to a lake and very quiet and peaceful.

Excellent Hotel in a quiet location close to the marina.

The hotel & spa were superb and the location was 'to die for' with such close proximity to the marina / beach!

The location is within walking distance of the Marina far enough away to avoid any noise, porter takes our car to secure under hotel car park and service I have ever experienced.

The car park is underground and runs under all parts of the hotel - go down in the nearest lift and you are immediately at your car.

The rooms are fairly spacious with ample wardrobe space and very modern bathrooms, each room has 27inch samsung flatscreen tv's and the beds are very big & comfy.

The hotel and the rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfort!

Rooms are very clean and comfortable bed gives you real relaxtion.

We stayed in a pool view suite that had 2 bathrooms, a living area and a bedroom with 2 balconies overlooking the beach pool and Vilamoura Marina.

The apartments are just wonderful, very spacious and very clean and a fabulous huge bed.

The food was ok - the pool bar was mediocre and we ate in the restaurant one evening which was satisfactory - BUT the breakfasts were very good.

The food in the hotel restaurants is very nice, buffet breakfast with everything you would expect, we had the buffet dinner twice, which was also lovely and Fusion restaurant was delicious.

Stayed here last September for a corporate function, We were more or less the only ones there, Did not eat in the hotel very much, but great breakfasts, Ate at the floating restaurant once, food OK.

We only ate at lunch times in the hotel as we found the food very expense so we went to the Marina restaurants to eat in the evenings.

We were bed and breakfast and ate out each night at the nearby Marina - which had numerous restaurants - quite reasonably priced - and child friendly!

The staff were so friendly (especially those at reception) and nothing was too much trouble for them.

To summarise, the hotel grounds and buildings are beautiful and it is a lovely relaxing place to be but we did feel very let down by the poor slow service and some of the staff don't have the right attitude to be working in a classy 5 star resort.

The service really let the hotel down, the staff did not seem to be up the job of serving guests who are used to a high level of service.

Also very attentive service from porters, the rooms large and taken through reservation then free drinks to the short.

Blue spa has water treatments, different showers, turkish, bath, roman bath, sauna, which is all free to guests.

You cannot use sauna without paying for spa though.

The beach swimming pool is great for children - clean, safe, fun and WARM.

Check- in staff were most polite and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable and clean.

The hotel was modern, i felt that the staff were truly happy to help and my room was spotlessly clean.

Rooms are spacious and very clean although I would advise that a lake view is selected.

The room was well furnished and kept very clean at all times.

The pools, Spa and restaurants where spotless and rooms were very comfortable.
