The hot tub overlooks the lake and beautiful location.
The location was good and the grounds of the Hotel were beautiful - a walk round the lake helped burn the breakfast off.
The hotel is in a great location for access to the town and charming staff are gracious.
The small town of Llangammarch Wells is an easy stroll of a mile or so from the hotel - and interesting trips into the mountains can be made on foot or by car from the hotel.
Back in our room, the bed had been turned down and the towels changed.
Beautiful relaxing decor, very friendly service and the room was very nice - need a ladder to climb on the bed.
We paid "half price" of £190 per night for a double room, dinner bed & breakfast, under a special offer.

The suite we had in the main building was both spacious and the room tastefully decorated in period style - lovely.
We have both eaten in many high quality restaurants in London and the rooms in the new building are gorgeous.
It was as good as anything I have eaten anywhere - and the evening buffet and breakfast the next morning were the same.
The style of food is somewhat "nouvelle cuisine" - great combinations of ingredients, although the servings are on the small side.
The staff are friendly and breakfast are very good.
The restaurant was excellent, the dinner on both nights was fantastic and the spa facililities were great.
An enjoyable stay in a fine hotel, excellent service from all the staff and very traditional well equipped bedroom.
Don't expect fast food because there aren't millions of staff buzzing around and it is lounge service only but do expect to be waited on hand and foot.
We had dinner at the hotel which was a fantastic experience, excellent service from all the staff and a delicious menu - ~I would recommend staying just for dinner.
Breakfasts were of the same high quality, staff - especially Luke the manager - were wonderful and the public rooms were lovely.
Moreover breakfast was also perfect, enjoyed the Spa even the pool was closed.
We also swam in the very modern and light spa pool, a few minutes form the main hotel.
We found the indoor pool/spa facilities to be excellent.
Our room was beautiful, lovely and clean with a view out over the river and gardens.
