Delicious and various dinners! Helpful and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere, just a few steps away from the hotel's own beach. The hotel even has two tennis courts, jacuzzis, pools (one on the beachside). The island is beautyful!

Room is a bit old furnitured. Not the best place for couples looking for calm / romance, more family oriented.

I was not satatisfied. Staff is unfriendly, food was not ok, rooms without balcony, and we paid a serious amount a day (I believe ca eur 500) etc etc.

We had a fantastic stay at this place. The hotel is located right on the beach, which was beautiful and felt safe. We enjoyed spending time lounging on the sun loungers and taking walks along the bay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the waiting staff. The service, including room service and housekeeping, was top-notch. The hotel also offers a variety of tours and ticket assistance, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room amenities were excellent, with air conditioning to keep us cool, an in-room safe for our valuables, and free toiletries provided. The flat-screen TV and comfortable parquet floors added to the luxurious feel of the room. We also enjoyed the dining options at the restaurant, with delicious dinners and a great bar/lounge area. the location, service, and amenities of this hotel exceeded our expectations.

We enjoyed our stay at Lacona. The room was a bit smaller than we expected, however the pool area is great and the beach is a 3 min walk. The breakfast was good (they must have improved it after some negative reviews before). This is a great hotel for families with children. The staff was very friendly and helpfu.

All staff very friendly and helpful, more than most hotels I stay in. The hotel is now a bit dated in terms of design and decor but is kept very clean. Despite sand from the beach! Nice pool. On south of island close to several good beaches. Lovely Island.

No snacks available at lunch time. This is very much a family hotel, lots of young Italian families, normal for August on Elba. If you want some peace and relaxation avoid July and August on Elba.

It is likely the best hotel in the area and convenient to the beach and has a great pool. Staff is also very helpful and pleasant.

Internet connection leaves much to be desired. Also we tried many of the restaurants in the area, and none of them got us excited. It is a ways from downtown, but take the bus for 2.50 euros instead of a taxi which will cost you 25 euros. The breakfast got to be boring by the second day.

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk from a beautiful and safe sandy beach. The cleanliness of the entire hotel, including the rooms and towels, was excellent. Our stay in Hotel Lacona was very enjoyable. My 5 year old son had a particularly good time however my 17 year old daughter found it way too quiet. This hotel in my opinion best suits couples with young children or more mature people who want a quiet, peaceful, safe and comfortable environment. Our visit was the last week in May and the first in June so perhaps it livens up during peak periods. Food was good although the selection was limited, again this may be an out of season thing. The rooms while not particularly exciting were spacious and exceptionally clean, the Reception and Dining areas again in my opinion required a wow factor injection. Lacona is primarily for camping but in terms of hotels this appeared to be as good and better than anything else available. A car is a must for anyone visiting Lacona. Ps Bring your own Pool / Beach Towels.

The complimentary mulled wine and hot cocoa were a nice touch during the Christmas season. The hotel's proximity to the beach and playground was convenient for a family with kids. We also enjoyed the free parking outside the hotel.

The staff's attitudes left a lot to be desired. They were not very friendly or welcoming, and communication was difficult due to their poor English skills.

I had a fantastic time at Uappala Club & Resort. The pool area was great and the pool itself was clean and inviting. The beach was just a short walk away and it was stunning. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options available. The location was also perfect for exploring the beautiful beaches and places around the island of Elba.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were modern and accommodating. The pool was big and clean. The beach was excellent and close.
