Splendid location in the centre of the city. Well-designed conversion of an old building with comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast.

    Good central location

Single room I had a back of hotel quite small. V little storage and tv, hardly visible from bed.

The Restaurant and food is excellent, the staff in the restaurant were very good. The room was ok, hoped for more for the money. Good breakfast.

Eventhough we had booked more than 6wks in advance, when we arrived it took 10 mins to locate our reservation-think this relates more to the booking process. I would phone the hotel direct next time. The hotel is good, perhaps a little past its peak, but still presentable. The bar was very noisey. Fan in the next room ran all night which made it hard to sleep.

Location near the ice arena and breakfast.

It was expensive for what it was and the heating did not work

Very pleasant hotel, very nice design of reception, bar and rooms.

The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent, and it was quiet considering it's central location. The Mojitos were great as well!!

Only complaint would be the shower, the temperature went from hot to cold, and it was fixed height, I'm quite tall and it was a struggle!!

  • Couple

The doormen were friendly and approachable

The shower had mould. Couldnt have a shower due to water going hot and cold. Some lights in our suite did not work. Place is a little dated. We expected luxury for the price because thats what we paid for. We came to the conclusion it is no more than a 3 star hotel with bigger rooms

location and the style of the hotel was good

The welcome at reception was very poor and the hotel lacked any atmosphere. The receptionist made you feel as if you were an 'inconvenience' to her and did not make a good first impression

Shower was slightly faulty and water pressure varied with temperature.Hotel reception staff did not mention breakfast at check in and option to have breakfast served in room, and this was missed.

absolute luxury-spoilt! Very inviting and warm welcome at reception desk. Smart, clean, posh, close to city and trent fm arena where we were visiting. Fantastic! will definately recommend and comeback myself!

If anything, i felt rather under dressed particularly on arrival. Is there a dress code for the hotel?if yes then possibly this could be better displayed? if not then sorry disreguard this comment and put this down to me being completely overwhelmed by the amazing-ness of your lovely hotel !!

Interesting area and pleasant location. The hotel has evolved in a listed building giving it a quirky feel.

My single room at the back was very small (not unexpected) but very hot.
