La Villita Inn San Antonio - 圣安东尼奥

Given their ideal location close to downtown, their rate is roughly half of other hotels.

My wife and I stayed at this location for a recent convention.

Our bed was made each day, but the toilet paper and soap were never restocked.

There was someone else's hair on my pillowcase and in the bed, as well as burned holes from cigarettes.

We found La Villita Inn in a Room Saver Magazine.

When we arrived first reaction was i don't think will be staying here but I decided to go in and check the room out at least.

After a misadventure with our flight, we found ourselves in San Antonio, on New Year's eve, with no hotel room.

I had simply went home at lunch on Thursday at noon and never went back.

There seemed to only be three people on staff: the manager, his wife, and one other lady, so it was hard findind somebody at times.

The manager was foreign, spoke broken English, was not professional at all and there was only one entrance at the end of the inn, a small dark entrance to the upstairs.

1 day before trip I called this hotel to confirm our reservations that we had booked online.

We knew going in that there was not a pool, but there were three amenities that were advertised: free HBO, free parking, and a computer in ever room w/ internet.

I found our room to be clean and comfortable.

Oh one final note if you are planning a trip within the next couple of week - they are remodeling some of the rooms so it does smell like paint but I happen to love the smell of fresh paint.
