La Quinta Inn Wausau - Wausau Junction

Its clean, has a great location, good service, decent breakfast, and excellent value.

I thought it was a great bargain and the area seemed safe and the location was only 1 mile from the hospital.

The bathrooms were puny but the beds were comfortable.

The were very polite on the phone when I made my reservation and asked if I had a preference of room type and location.

Shower and bathroom floor never cleaned during our 5 day stay until we complained on 3rd & 4th day.

Suites near the airport, great Stay and the staff were pleasant.

The bathroom appeared okay but the desk was sticky.

Nice clean hotel with excellent continental breakfast.

If I were a business traveler, I may not choose this hotel, as the wait for breakfast may be too long and the area too cramped.

Free continental breakfast gone fast and few hard stale items only left when we got there 3 times.

It included hard boiled eggs, belgian waffles, fruit compote, yougurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, oatmeal and hot chocolate packets, coffee and various types of breakfast breads and bagels, danish, etc.

I had a rental car but several restaurants were within walking distance.

Breakfast areas were clean, the front desk staff was very friendly and professional.

Talked to front desk and then General Manager who just made excuses and never apologized or took action or compensated us in any way for the numerous complaints.

Last day, lady in charge of buffet served lobby front desk food and drink which is meant for customers and didn't help me-just stared-when I was handicapped and trying to put food/drink on a tray.

Management needs to take customer service training and customer satisfaction classes asap.

Asked for smoking room and they gave nonsmoking, then asked for close to lobby due to handicapped and they gave us room far away from lobby and pool.

I asked for a double/double near the indoor pool/jacuzzi and that is exactly what I got.

Kids jumping into pool repeatedly after 10 pm.

The carpets in the two room we had were clean and the breakfast was wonderful.

The room was spotless, the staff friendly and the complimentary breakfast was great.
