I think this La Quinta in particular is having to overcome it's somewhat difficult to find location and proximity to the expressway, and they are really making an effort.

Nice location with no highway noise and nice folks at desk.

Free high-speed internet (I'm using it right now), but the room lighting is a bit lacking--the two small lamps between the beds, one on the table with the phone and one by the TV don't nearly light up the entire room.

On the plus side, the room was reasonably spacious, with a king bed, a desk/table and a lounge chair.

Even the corners of the bedroom, bath and sink area are thoroughly clean - no built-up grime anywhere.
