For the price this is truly a great hotel.
Good location and for the price this is truly a great hotel.
From reading the reviews prior to staying at La Quinta Inn Busch Gardens I expected a reasonably clean hotel, for a decent price, in a good location.
Basic hotel at a cheap price, the person at the front desk was friendly and helpful, the water took 10 or 15 minutes to warm up.
Lots of good family restaurants nearby, great location and saying this hotel was near Busch Gardens.
I would definately recommend this hotel for its location and friendliness.
Traveler going to Busch gardens, can't beat the location.
If you want the busch gardens entrance on foot, walk down the perimeter past Burger king and McDonalds on your right and there is a gate about 200 yards.
Place in located a couple 100 feet from the POLICE station so security is for the.
I inspected everything from tubs, toilets, carpet, beds, and even under the beds).
Our room was an Ovations King - was of a good size, had a nice bed and included a fridge and microwave.
$88 for bed/breakfast in a usual motel style room - more than you would expect to pay in Orlando but maybe all Tampa hotels are more expensive.
Room was comfortable enough (sink was in the bedroom not in the bathroom).
We had two standard king rooms (314 & 315) and one king suite (183).
7am and stayed packed through closing; we just took our breakfast back to our rooms to eat.
Breakfast - it was great - lots of hot and cold items, and tons of food.
I suggest the one eat breakfast either very early, or very late in the times its offered.
The hotel help is not overly willing to keep all food items stocked when there are many folks all trying to get breakfast.
The breakfast was more than an average continental style breakfast.
We stayed four nights this year and were very impressed with the staff from front desk to maids.

As we took the elevator up to our room, we noticed elevator light panels were on the floor, dirty disgusting floor of elevators.
The lobby and pool area must have been recently added, and they must have refurbished the outside of the building, but the rooms are extemely shabby and grungy.
Only one of two elevators was in operation & shook during motion.
The lady at the front desk was just fantastic, the room was clean.
While it doesn't come close to being a "resort", it does have clean, decent rooms.
We were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of our room and it was clean and tidy.
Clean room, nice meal heay alchol session.
The room was clean and spacious and we were offered extra entertainment if required ie - games systems for the children.
