  Well kept, clean, comfortable room. Great location near restaurants and large shopping mall. Helpful front desk gave good directions.

  No complaints about location, and overall cleanliness of room and common areas was actually better that I expected. Staff said there is no way to make the a/c fan remain on while the compressor is off, but were very helpful by moving me to a room with an older a/c.

  Unfortunately, this motel decided to install new room a/c's whose compressors AND fans (not just compressors) cycle off and on based on room temperature.

  Everything was nice, the breakfast was nice and the area was pretty safe.

  The beds were very small size beds, thought they were at least queen size.

  I enjoyed it overall and the price was great. I will plan to go back next year for the family reunion again in Tallahassee.

  This is a great location for visiting the State Capital city of Tallahassee. We had a reservation for a Saturday, but arrived a day early. John at the front desk booked us in at the roomsaver discount rate, because the computers would not allow him to book both nights at the web site rate.

  The front desk staff at check in were very friendly and helpful.

  We were assigned a room in the back on the 2nd floor. This hotel is ok for budget travellers but we found the Fairfield in North Tallahassee far better for nearly the same price.

  The lobby looked nice and our room looked good when we first stepped in it.

  The problem came when it was time to go to bed. I picked hairs off my bed for an hour before I would sleep on it, and even then didn't use any top sheets or covers.

  Room was definitely clean, yes some water stains, but it was clean. Not fancy, but I felt safe, and I felt like the staff was very polite, and gave good service.

  The first night at 12:45 am, the garbage man came and emptied the dumpster, right outside my room. My take is, I just use the room to sleep, and at a savings of at least 30.

  Let me start this review by saying that my mother used to be a hotel maid and she always told me that she cleaned rooms as though she were the one staying in the room. So I cancelled my reservation from two nights to one night and looked for another hotel. I killed (smashed) three of them and promptly delivered them to the manager.

  We usually stay at Comfort Suites (never a problem! The bathroom had a few long hairs on the floor. The bathroom vent was almost totally clogged with dust. In the morning, I was looking at the sheets and saw blood streaks on my bed and my daughter's bed.

  This chain had been excellent in Gainesville and Atlanta, but this location really let us down. The lady at the front desk was nice at check-in, but somewhat clueless. The room was not very clean and fresh smelling in feel. In fact, it felt like someone had cleaned it 2 weeks before and the room was left unused until we checked in. We spent the night, checked out the next morning as soon as we woke, drove around Tallahassee, ate breakfast at a wonderful Waffle House on Monroe and S.

  Our Tallahassee-South price was $59 and the reservation was booked at LQ just like the other La Quintas on the the trip. We expected the typical La Quinta features: a clean room, Free High Speed Internet, a continental breakfast, etc. The room had no towels, no soap, no shampoo, some lights did not work, the TV was almost dead, the high speed internet was wireless but malfunctioning. The hotel offered towels, soap, was out of shampoo, a La Quinta complaint form, and a PC in the lobby. The doors could use re-sealing, the lights need bulbs, the pool needs some cleaning, the housekeeping needs to catch-up on their customer's needs and overall this hotel needs to get a clue that management is what makes or breaks customer satisfaction.
