Spacious rooms, evening cookies, and great service from Joseph at La Quinta were highlights. the location near grocery and retail stores was convenient.

Dated furniture, noisy AC unit, and worn curtains were noticeable drawbacks. Sparse breakfast was a minor downside.

The location was particularly good and easy for first time visitors to Ely. Further, it was near a large grocery store.

You can have toast and yogurt with your breakfast if you want to.

The room was quiet and updated, had essentials, like a shower and hairdryers. The continental breakfast had a huge variety of choices.

I chose this hotel for attending a convention because it offers two meeting rooms that accommodate up to 354 guests. The staff was accommodating and the meeting facilities were well-equipped, providing a conducive environment for our sessions.

The one service that I missed for my work was the availability of a business center with printing and copying facilities.

The hotel was clean, facilities were excellent, favourable location next to a Ridley's grocery store with a deli, Colorado and California and others downtown. The local staff were pretty friendly.

The location was easy, at a medium distance from White Pine Public Museum.

With strength-training equipment and cardio machines available, I was able to maintain my workout routine without any hassle. For the location, this property is on the pricey side.

Exceptional service and an attached restaurant onsite. Toast and yoghourt provided. Nice location in Ely near to Cave Lake state parks.

Very central location to overly priced for the area. And really close to a grocery store, and gas station that happened to have the best priced gas as well as Lehman caves and Great Basin National Park.

Not very clean bathroom.

The heater controls. Didn't like the fact that when you turn the thermostat down just a few degrees it would turn on the A/C. We would prefer if it would just stop heating and let it cool down naturally. This seems to be a common issue with places that have installed newer wall thermostats to control the old under-the-window units. I must say, staying at this hotel was like dealing with a moody friend. You ask for a little warmth, and suddenly they blast you with cold air. It's like trying to reason with a stubborn toddler - no matter what you do, they always have a mind of their own.

Erratic heater controls, prefer natural cooling.

So many choices for breakfast: toast and yogurt. Modern design and fairly quiet and updated room.

The La Quinta Inn & Suites Ely was a delightful stay. The room was clean, quiet, and large with very comfortable beds. The hotel and room were extra spacious and did not smell like pets at all. The fireplace in the lobby was a charming touch, and the outdoor patio provided a peaceful spot for a cup of coffee.

The receptionist who checked me in was slow and seemed flustered, providing inaccurate information about my room's location. However, this was a minor issue that did not significantly impact my overall experience at the hotel.
