La Quinta Inn Springfield - 斯普林菲尔德

The hotel room, including the bathroom was clean and neat.

After the desk clerk spent 15 minutes of trying to locate someone to even start cleaning the room, the desk clerk gave us a suite that was ready.

Suite included a couch, microwave, refrigerator but basically same size room as regular room with no room dividers.

For some reason hotel did not clean the room on either Saturday or Sunday and both days we had to go to front desk to get extra towels.

We rested well in the beds, hot breakfast.

Breakfast featured the typical make-your-own waffles, biscuits and gravy, bagels, boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, milk & juice.

Breakfast area is small with only 6 small tables and even though the breakfast is listed as going until 10am, the hotel staff would be cleaning up and taking items away after 9:30.

When they ran out of items they were not replenished, don't go for the free breakfast unless you are the first in line.

It's about a 5-10 minute drive to the heart of town, the restaurants and bars, and the campus areas, and probably about the same distance to the airport.

They offer a hot breakfast in the morning which includes biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, and probably several other options.

Nice decor and the staff was very accommodating.

The hotel staff was very friendly at check-in.

The elevator needed to be updated and the hallway looked worn.

It was difficult to load/unload b/c one of the side doors was "exit only" which forced you to (1) prop the door open so you could get back in or (2) take the other door which forced you to walk through the main lobby area.

Pool area small, dirty and smelled funny and there were ants/vermin everywhere.

The staff was very friendly although I felt the housekeeping staff was a bit too anxious for us to leave our room so they could clean it.

Got there at 9:30pm and a room was not clean or ready, even tho check in time is 3pm.
