La Quinta Inn Santa Fe - 圣菲

We only spent 1 night at this location (2 rooms).

I would say that it is comparable to a Holiday Inn - our room had a king sized bed, which was great - not too hard or soft.

Though, through negotiations between La Quinta and Booked.net, I requested and got confirmed a room with a King Size bed, the La Quinta staff claimed to know nothing about it and the Booked.net customer service was worse.

The sink in the bathroom vanity as well as the tub drained extremely slow and in the tub when I happened to remove the plug because I was over ankle deep in water, there was a HUGE wad of hair in the drain,DISGUSTING!

We took a standard room with two double beds.

This La Quinta Inn is a large cheap apartment building complex, like a Motel 6, just with fancy angles (all room doors outside).

There is also a breakfast-lunch-dinner casual dining place right next door, as well as a number of restaurants within walking distance.

However, the food was just starting to build (breakfast advertised from 6am to 9am).

The breakfast was yummy, but get there early during the Holiday season.

While this property is about a 15 minute drive from downtown ( the Plaza), it is very convenient to I-25 and within walking distance to several restaurants and the Santa Fe Mall.

Breakfast was acceptable with your normal hot beverages, flavored creamers, packaged muffins, bagles.

We found the staff helpful and polite- only sad thing was my daughter left her pink blanky in the room and the maids threw it away after we checked out.

Luckily we had our printed confirmation - the employee at the front desk didn't know how to help us so he had to get the manager.

The staff allowed us to have a New Year's Eve gathering in the lobby with our friends.

The staff was helpful and check-out were quick.

The pool was really clean, and we spent a couple of days hanging out by the pool and were impressed that the pool was always clean and not at all crowded.

Great sitting by the pool with a cold beer after a day in the car.

Right across the parking lot is a main terminal in a shopping mall for the different buses that go all over Santa Fe.

The staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean.

The hotel room was very clean and I didn't have any complaints while we were there.

However, if you want a clean, comfortable room and are willing to drive a few minutes into town then you should consider the La Quinta.

We had a great experience here and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean room and friendly, helpful staff.

Room was clean and had a nice big table to eat dinner at.
