  The staff was nice and no questions were asked, they just came and took care of it. In the end, it was fixed and the manager was very nice about it.

  Making the reservation: I was told $79 A night for the family room. When I call back to confirm the reservation I am told it was canceled. The property itself had the reservation but the 800 number didn't. Arrival and Room : It was a mixture of OLD and NEW. The floors were all upgraded and so were the bed spreads. The bathroom showed some wear but the bathtub was another story.

  This property has recently been remodeled and the rooms are clean and bright. We chose this hotel because it is a good value for a hotel close to Lackland AFB. The manager and his staff are the most accommodating people I have encountered in a long time. The location on I-35 and Military Road does present some road noise, but this is quickly assimilated.

  The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice, no-frills rooms. Parking is safe and monitored by a security guard.

  Obviously, I got out of bed like a cork screw out of a champagne bottle to realize it was a huge grasshopper measuring close to 4 inches long.

  The TV was probably from the 1,980's with no remote. When I called the front desk to ask for a remote they told me they could not help me because the remotes were all locked in the maintenance closet. The water was not enough to even brush your teeth so we had to use the shower. The bathroom floor and bath tub were both filthy. La Quinta has some decent hotels but be very careful next time you make a reservation with La Quinta.

  The rooms were not luxurious, or extravagent, but for the price I paid. I will say that the rooms were very clean. And that the staff, (Especially Management) Were very polite and curtious. There is a 14 screen movie theater a few yards behind the Hotel which helped to kill some time before bed. If you are a light sleeper, there may be to much comotion around this location for you.

  I will say that the rooms are relatively clean (I actually stayed in two rooms thank you very much, see below) and the furniture was updated in the last decade. Unfortunately I missed the mediocre included breakfast as I had to be at work very soon. A nice thing about this location is that across the parking lot is a 14 movie theatre and a few ok looking restaurants.

  The first room had a noisy AC that made a bubbling noise. The shower was at least higher up than the La Quinta at Vance Jackson (which I had to hunch to get under), and the bathroom was little bit better laid out.

  Minimum Breakfast facilities - coffee was terrible. Friday and Saturday evenings VERY NOISY, children running up and down veranda's shouting/screaming until after midnight, plus adults standing outside rooms shouting - no consideration for other guests. There appeared to be a cinema and car park facing the room we were in, this became rather busy late evening. Unfortunately,we were rather late with our hotel booking, the result was that most hotels closer to Lackland were full; if Lackland is your destination - book accommodation early!
