La Quinta Inn Ft Lauderdale Northeast Fort Lauderdale

Plusses: GREAT location -- only about a mile from the beach and this hotel is really nice.

The location is very close to the beach , but not so near to downtown or Sawgrass Hill.

Good location near to the beach and 20 minutes far from Saw Grass Mall.

It had every thing that we needed and was very comfortable and a very good location.

I stayed at the Laquinta twice in August because the location was convenient and the price was cheap.

Third room # 231, hairs all over the bed sheets and pillows, mold in the bathroom, yellow water in the toilet, dusty and dirty.

There were also 2 phones in the room, one by the bed, and another one on the desk.

There was the bed, night stands, dresser with TV on it, desk, and 2 chairs in the room.

The bed was rock-hard and the (new looking) toilet handle broke, but the carpeting was fine for bare feet.

One day, the cleaning crew tried to get into the room while I was still in bed; they managed to unlock the door, but the safety latch kept them from coming in.

Breakfast was only available to 9o'clock, not great when you are on vacation, and the breakfast attendant ensured no-one was allowed any more food after 9o'clock.

Breakfast was pathetic - stale bagels, hard boiled eggs, wallpaper paste waffles you make yourself.

Good points: the hotels pool area was nice and clean and they had a nice continental breakfast.

The breakfast is good, and is ready early in the morning.

Although on a positive note, the breakfast was well maintained and kept stocked up.

We did, however, receive excellent service from the front desk at check-in.

The hotel is in a a good area, the staff are very friendly.

There was only one hotel employee on the premises, so when he was able to get away from the front desk, he brought me a set of clean sheets.

The pool was nice and clean, and we enjoyed our time there.

The management made no attempt to clean up the trash the students littered the hallways and pool with.

Well cared for landscaping and parking lot.

They offer free high speed internet, but it is not very fast.

In room -- clean and the breakfast was good.

The hotel rooms was clean, I did not see any bugs or hair as others have wrote, they are however, very very very worn down.
