La Quinta Inn Columbia Ne Fort Jackson - 哥伦比亚

The only negative was that my reservation was for a king size bed, no-smoking room.

My reservation was for a standard king bed room.

I got 2 queen size beds (not a problem) in a smoking room ( a bit of a problem since I am allergic to smoke!

The king bed was very comfortable, not a pillow top of anything along those lines, but I was still able to get a good nights sleep with relative ease.

I then proceeded to the bathroom, were I notice that there was hair in the tub.

The woman who replenished the breakfast bar was a sourpuss, and the maid had the audacity to ask if I wanted my room serviced!

Plenty of restaurants, mostly that of the fast food variety, are located within a half mile, and a few grocery stores are also nearby.

Free breakfast was very tasty - I enjoyed biscuits and sausage gravy.

Breakfast but it was nothing really good.

I was told by a local I made chit chat with at a nearby restaurant that there were problems with gangs in the area, and I myself observed some unsavory types milling about here and there on the nearby highway.

Staff was friendly and first the manager was very nice and helpful.

Even though the hotel pool was closed since it was outdoors, the people at the front desk were awsome!

Mario, a front desk worker, was such a sweetie!

Some good things about this hotel and service was nice.

Service was nice though, the cleaning ladies were very nice to me and my son.

There are a lot of signs in the parking lot saying they are not responsible for stolen items.

A review written a year ago, Sept 06, talks about a major renovation coming soon but Sept 07 finds La Quinta an older hotel still in need of a face lift.

Room was clean and the curtains were nice and modern.

My bathroom is clean but antiquated none the less.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was fine.
