La Quinta Inn & Suites Kansas City Airport - 堪薩斯城

Nine of the rooms have two person whirlpool tubs (separate from the bathroom tub).

During our stay we found out that this Quality Inn & Suites has a large variety of rooms so if you want/need a particular configuration to accommodate your family, a group or for a meeting, just ask them.

Because the rooms are so large, they have a desk, chair, comfortable seating (our room had a reclining chair) and many extras.

Rooms have hair dryers, coffee makers, ironing boards and irons.

The room was nothing special, just a typical non-smoking.

The draw for us was the proximity to the airport and easy access to restaurants/freeway, free breakfast (which is not supposed to be available until 6am, but they will have it out earlier if you ask), and free parking and shuttle to the airport.

As we had never stayed at this hotel before, staff explained about the shuttle service, breakfast, local restaurants and everything else they thought would make our stay more comfortable.

Food at the continental breakfast did not seem to be kept at proper temperatures, nor cared for sanitarily.

A wonderful buffet breakfast is available from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in a large eating area with numerous tables located next to the lobby area.

They also have a fabulous continental breakfast with warm waffles, definately a bonus.

The friendly front desk staff offered to cancel our reservation, but everything was full due to the holiday.

The front desk staff was less than friendly and the free breakfast was good.

We ended up having to drive to the airport and use longterm parking because the shuttle is shared with another hotel property, runs only on the half hour, and was booked for the other property at any reasonable times we needed it for.

The hotel airport shuttle service runs from 4:30 am to midnight and there is no extra charge for parking your vehicle there during the entire time you are gone.

My suggestion - book the shuttle in advance over the phone before you arrive.

They also had free wireless internet, which was a big plus.

The hotel is in the process of getting high-speed Internet connection for guests to use at no charge.

Our room was showing its age and was marginally clean.
