  The rooms look as if they are newly redone, everything is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast area is pleasant and spacious, with a wide variety of food. I didn't go in the pool, but it looked nice.

  We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport and we had an early flight out after spending a wonderful week in SC. Once we were assigned a room we found it to be dark and dirty, the bathroom had not been cleaned leaving scum around the tub edge and obvious dirt on the floor. The linen was so dirty we decided to sleep in our clothes and left extra early in the morning to cleanup and eat at the airport.

  We arrived in the evening after being on the road for hours, and had to wait for service.

  The pool was nice and the atmosphere was OK.

  The breakfast and the shower pressure was very week.

  Overall an Ok place to sleep and go to the pool but not a romantic setting or feel. It was very clean though.

• Dirty glass all over the property, the worst was in the room. Two light bulbs were burned out in the lamps in the room and it was very obvious that he "couldn't be bothered" when I walked down and offered to change them myself if he would retrieve them for me.

• Room is adequate-we did not find the beds too hard. The hallways and elevator are not kept very clean though.

  It was incredibly easy to get to from the airport (mapquest directions were correct), and just a 10-minute drive to downtown G'ville. We arrived around noon, a few hours before check-in, but the very kind front-desk folks tried to get us into our room as soon as possible. Throughout our stay, the staff were a joy, even the housekeeping folks were incredibly pleasant and helpful.

  We reserved the (only) Smoking Suite, because we figured we'd host the after-party from my nephew's no-alcohol reception. But the important things, the linens and bath, were squeaky-clean. Apparently smokers are relegated to the worst rooms in the joint.

  Plus they actually read my request on the reservation and gave me a room location I prefer. Side note they had elevators at both ends of the hotel so if your room is in the back you can park there and get to your room easier. Room: Nice and spacious like most LQ hotels. The rooms are very big and everything was in working order. I didn't have a fridge because they were out of suite rooms when I reserved. Bathroom: Clean and everything was stocked.

  I stayed at the La Quinta Greenville SC for 1 night and its not a bad location.

  The hotel lobby, halls and rooms were very nice, clean and fresh looking. The breakfast was super, and I loved the thick linens. Oh, and not ALL rooms have a fridge, be sure to request one if you need it.

  The beds were terribly hard and the pool needs resurfacing, the concrete floor in it is awful.

  This LaQuinta, kinda lodged in between a highway and the back of a shopping mall, offers lots of nice service. First, I had no complaints of the room, very well kept. One big tip, reservations by internet to this hotel may be the best idea. I stayed two nights here for about $37 each, two full beds for 4 people, with a special internet offer.
